Rory entered through her front door and came to a halt seeing a tall woman with long brown hair. She could faintly see the two males before her as she pulled away from a hug from her sobbing song and husband. Her lips parted as the woman turned around with a small smile on her face. "Mom?" She said just above a whisper.
"Rory." Danielle breathed out as the brunette ran towards her mother and engulfed her in a hug as tears fell from her doe eyes.
"I missed you so much." She hiccupped as the woman's embrace grew tighter around the girl who sobbed into her chest.
"I missed you more angel." Danielle smiled pressing her lips to her daughter's forehead.

Not too long after the Rory had received a phone call from Caroline explaining what was occurring with all the ghosts in the town. Danielle was very much aware she and the others needed to be sent away, despite her selfish wants to stay longer with her husband and especially her children. She decided on making her way with Nathan to the grill where Alaric and Damon were posted at alongside Mason Lockwood.
Rory had assured Caroline she'd meet her and Bonnie at the witch house. Where as Alec wasn't eminent on sending their mother back just yet.
"Why should we all be splitting up? Mom just came back from the dead -- we should be together." He said with a look on his face as he looked to this sister who frowned.
"You know we can't." She explained grabbing her jacket and placing it on herself. "As much as I want her to stay, it wasn't just mom who came. There's more than likely vengeful vampires, werewolves, witches--" She sighed tiredly, "We'll meet up together before Bonnie closes the veil." She assured him.
