5 years later ...

"Mommy ! , mommy !" Melissa screams across the house ,I rush out the kitchen to see that her hair was cut in so many different lengths , what did she do to her hair , she was standing dramatically as well as crying.

"Sweety why are you crying ?" I bend down so we can look each other in the eye

"That imbecile of a son of yours did this to me " my eyes grew to the size of saucers , didn't I tell Marcus to stop watching that show with her ,now look at what he has done to my four year old girl.

"Dear ,it's rude to use such words tell me what did your brother do?" I inquire holding myself from laughing ,her hair was bad yes but her attitude was even worse ,why did she have to take after Marcus.

"No mommy it's not what he did ,it's what he didn't do ,now I am going to kill him and cut off his balls and feed it to the lions" this time I am gaping she runs out of the room before I could reprimand her ,next thing I hear ,they are both fighting up their room.

"Melissa Mendez can you stop abusing your brother ?"

"But why this idiot cut off my beautiful hair mommy" she pulls off her cutest sad face that always gets her what she wants from her dad ,his such a baby when it comes to her. "You know how long it took me to grow my hair that length but look now you've ruined it" She directs her attention at her brother

"Christian why did you do this to your sister?" I ask I can't deal with they dramatics anymore.

"I am sorry mom but it's not my fault, it's all hers she said she wanted to look like Laycy Cooper so I made her look like her "

"No you didn't you made me look like an alien , a terrible monster now look at me Laycy is so beautiful simply gorgeous but all I look like is pathetic and hopeless now how is the love of my life going to look at me ? ,tell me dad is going to think I look ugly " she starts crying and this time I feel terrible.

"Sweety please don't cry ,you are a lot of things young lady but ugly isn't one of them you hear me ,your dad will love you no matter what." I say giving her a warm hug as I kiss her on both her cheeks and wipe away her tears.
" now look at what you've done young man you made your sister cry"

"Please don't cry Melly I am sorry you are nothing like that Laycy on that t.v. show cause she's just ugly ,you are so much prettier than she could ever be , those green eyes of yours will make the world go crazy ,I am so sorry please don't cry ,you are so beautiful" I feel my heart warm up ,Christian hugs his twin sister as he kisses her on the cheek how I loved it when they patched up they were the cutest like literally.

"Stiny do you really think that ?" Melissa says her wonderful nickname that drives Christian crazy.

"Yes I do and guess what since mom will have to cut all your hair off since it looks really really bad ,mom will cut mine as well"

"What you'll cut your perfect hair ,your shawny hair for me ?" Christian nods. How I love the love my kids have despite the bad education Marcus was giving them on t.v. shows they were also getting good education

We head to the barber as we shave off both they heads ,oh my goodness how Marcus will probably kill me for doing this to his children but it wasn't my fault they practically did this to themselves ,but their hair cut didn't look that bad ,they hair weren't completely shaved off but it was much lower than expected ,it was impossible to save Melissa's hair considering how Christian destroyed his sister's locks ,their haircut made they green eyes stand out more ,how beautiful they will look when they eyes change colour with season. To be honest I was jealous none of them took my boring eyes although they both looked pretty much the same they had few traits from me ,but mostly they took from Marcus ,to be honest his one selfish guy when it comes to genes.

By the time we reach home ,Marcus was back Melissa as always runs off and gives her dad a hug and kisses my husband like if he were hers ,sometimes I think she wants to steal Marcus from me but on the other hand I can't complain considering how Marcus feels the same when it comes to Christian. I motion for Christian to go off and hug his dad after Melissa is done with her extra dramatics.

"What did you do to my little Prince and princess ,Christina?"

"They both went for a hair cut I will tell you later but first tell me why are you letting Melissa watch that show I told I don't want her watching it with you ,it teaches her bad things Marcus ?" I inquire as he pulls me towards him so that I clash on his chest as he smirks , so funny.

"But I don't ,she falls asleep why don't you give me a proper welcoming ,first you turn my children into prisoners with such bad haircuts that makes them look incredibly cute and now you scold me ,bad mommy very bad" he teases I punch him slightly on the chest as I kiss him slowly but passionately ,I cut the kiss short hearing the kids grossing out on us , we were embarrassing them, Marcus never learns.

"How about we go and eat some dinner ,Melissa could you please help mommy dish up ,while Christian helps daddy?" She nods with excitement how she loves helping out in the kitchen as always.

I was so happy ,my family was complete ,after accepting to give Marcus a second chance our lives has been better we decided on ditching on remarrying considering how Marcus hates weddings and after my awful experience with wedding ceremonies which was my own I never want to go through that again. My mom and Richard had managed to patch up their confusing relationship and now they visit the kids like crazy as well as Marcus's parents although Marcus and his dad never seem to get along it's always fun watching them argue during family dinners. Sam and Lucas are married now can you believe it ? Cause I seriously can't but I am super happy for the both of them although I freaked out when they told me they were in a relationship. And Catherine well let's just say she's spending a really long time in prison after almost killing me it was difficult to trace her down but eventually the cops did,now she was out of all life's for good.

My journey was a rocky one but at the end everything turned out to be just fine at times life throws at us some heavy blows some in which makes us just want to kill ourselves but at the end all we got to do is take in everything with caution and understanding and we will be all just fine
