Grian's pov
I was walking through the shopping district to see if my barge had made any sales. I walked in and saw that someone had bought the netherite bundle! I was so happy and made a mental note to make a second box. Just then I heard fireworks land outside the shop. Doc walked in and greater me. He asked if I had any TNT in stock and of course I did. He thanked me and left the shop. I questioned what he needed it for but thought nothing of it and went about my day.
Later that same day Doc came up to me and asked me a question.
"Hey G, I have a question for you."
"Uhh..sure! What is it?"
"I was wondering if you had any jewellery of some sort, I asked the other hermits but they all said no or that it was too important to them."I pulled out my mother's amulet and questioned if I should trust Doc.
"What do you need it for?" I asked, clutching the amulet to my chest.
"I'm trying to do an experiment, I want to know if I can make a potion that can enhance ANYTHING's durability to the point where they aren't effected, I have tried it on everything accept jewellery and people. I want to do jewellery first so the I can be sure that it will work on us." Doc explained in an exited manner. Grian didn't like the idea of taking off the amulet let alone trusting someone to use TNT on it but Grian figures that he could trust Doc." O-okay b-"
"Thanks Grian! Your the best!" Doc interrupted. Snatching it from Grian and taking off before Grian could get out the rest of his sentence. Please be carful with it Doc. Grian thought as he retreated back to his mansion for the night, although he didn't sleep much. He started to regret trusting Doc so he decided to go after Doc and see if he could get it back from him.Doc's pov
YES! I can finally find out if this will work on us. I was just about to light the TNT when I heard fireworks. I set down the bottle and went to see who was visiting at such a late hour. I held on to the necklace as I walked over to the entrance of my base.Standing out side was Grian. When I opened the door I saw he looked quite worried and so I asked him if everything was okay.
"Grian you look tense, is everything that okay?"
"I-I have changed my mind....can I have the amulet back?"
I was curious as to why he would stop trusting me with it and so I asked him why.
" Why, don't you trust me?"
"It's not that it's just it's important to me and I would like it back if that's okay.."
"Why is it so important?" I wasn't going to have him leave me with any un answered questions.
"I don't want to say...can I just have it back?"
I saw him start to reach over and take it off of me so I snapped my arm back. What was ha hiding from me?" if it's really that important then you'll tell me why it's so important."
"Look Doc., I don't want any conflict, just give it back to me."
"Your not giving me an answer which means that it's clearly not important to you which means you won't mind me doing this!"
I dropped it onto the floor with a loud thud, I say Grian wince and go to pick it up so I put my foot over it.
"You'll get it back in a few days. Good bye Grian!"
And with that I shut the door in his face and ran down to my basement where I locked myself in so he couldn't reach the necklace. I went back over to the testing table and set to work. He could trust me, why couldn't he see that?!
