|Maria's POV|

"Okay, that was good", Shadow said as I answered his Spanish history question. "Now let's move on to translating."

"Okay", I smiled and glanced at Speedy, who was sitting on Shadow's couch. He only came because he still didn't trust Shadow all the way.

Shadow nodded before saying, "What is 'lampara'?"

"Easy, lamp", I said loudly, causing Speedy to look back over at us.

"Good. 'Gracias'?"

"Thanks", I smiled. "I'm not as bad as I thought."

"Well let's move on to something harder", Shadow said as I nodded. "How do you say 'to find' in Spanish?"

"Euh, I-I, eum... Capuita de la vaquita?", I questionned more than I said.

Shadow and Speedy both started laughing. "That'd be the answer if I asked you how to say 'cow shit' in Spanish."

"Oh, chinga usted!", I yelled at him.

"Well at least she can say 'fuck you' in Spanish!", Speedy laughed as he walked into the kitchen with me and Shadow.

"Shut up before I find some more cuss words to say in Spanish!", I hissed at Speedy.

He chuckled a little. "Do you wanna take a break from Spanish and go over to Legiqn's for history?"

I nodded. "I'd do anything to get away from Spanish."

"Okay. Well, we'll see you later, Shad-eww!", Speedy laughed out as I said my goodbyes.

"Shut up and get that girl to history class", said Shadow, laughing and closing the door as we walked out.

"Here you go, love", said Speedy as he opened the door of his mother's car for me to get in before walking around to the other side.

"I don't understand you sometimes", I said, giggling.

"What do you mean?", he smiled at me as he started the car and put it in drive.

"I mean, you're always so sweet and romantic, it's adorable."

"I'm glad you think I'm adorable", Speedy winked at me as he looked over.

"I know you are", I said as I kissed his cheek. "So very- shit, Speedy!", I yelled as a car turned out in front of us. Speedy hit the brakes and flung his arm out in front of me.

"Holy shit", he mumbled. "How did we not rear end that car?"

"I don't know, but I'm glad we didn't. My mom would have freaked out", I said as I ran my fingers through my hair.

"Well at least we're here now", he sighed before getting out and coming around to my side of the car and opening the door.

"I'm not helpless, babe. I can open a door and close it by myself", I laughed.

"Yeah, I know", he smiled.

"Okay love birds, out of my lawn and into my bedroom!", Legiqn said, impersonating an old lady's voice. We laughed before following him inside.

"Shall we get started on this hell?", I asked, sighing. Legiqn nodded and opened his history book on his bed.

"Okay, I think I understand it now...", I said as Deluxe explained the chemical formula to me for the thousandth time.

"Good! It wasn't as hard as you were making it seems", he said, smiling.
