15 (POV change lol)

"Who was in that picture?"

I turned to look at my manager.
"My friend from school."

He just gave me the 'REALLY' look.
"A friend from school that you haven't mentioned? To anyone."

I nodded.
"We grew apart the last year of high school and since I moved here and started my acting career I haven't had a chance to go visit."

My manager nodded.
"Is it who the fans are saying it is?"

I nodded.
"Yes. My childhood friend is Jason from NCT. We were next door neighbors for years."

He smiled.
"Just friends right? Nothing more?"

I sighed and rolled my eyes with a slight blush forming on my cheeks.
"Yes. Just friends."

My manager laughed.
"Whatever you say Yejoon. Just know that the fans are blowing this out of proportion. So prepare yourself and your friend."

I nodded and he left with a bow. Once he was gone I pulled out my phone and dialed Jason's number.

"Hello?"

I smiled at his voice and greeted him.
"Hi. I just wanted to tell you that the fans are blowing up. They keep saying we are dating secretly. I just want to prepare you for any interviews you have coming up."

He laughs from the other side and I can't help but feel fuzzy inside.
" Thanks for worrying Joonie. But I think I'll be okay. It won't be the first time my fans have said I was secretly dating someone."

I smiled again.
"Yeah but still. You now have two fandoms coming to question you. Just be ready."

"Okay Okay I'll be ready when they do. But you should be too."

My smile kept growing as he spoke. I couldn't help myself.
"I will be Jae. Don't worry about me. But I'm glad I got to come and spend some time with you. Even if it was only for a day."

"I know. I'm that fabulous. You had such a great time."

I laughed and heard him do the same from the other line.
"How did you know what I was going to say?"

He laughed again.
"Gosh I missed this. Talking with someone so freely. I mean I have the members but they really don't know much about my past. You know everything but you're still here. Thank you for sticking with me through the tough times. It means a lot."

I smiled once again and sighed.
"I've missed this too. And I don't want to ever have to miss it again because I won't lose you this time."

His laugh echoed.
"Yeah. Don't lose such a gem."

I just shook my head and said goodbye before hanging up. That boy is going to be the death of me.

I walked down the street to my house and hummed along to the music I was listening to. The cherry blossom trees were in full bloom so I decided that it would be a good day to take  the long and scenic way back to my place. The overall atmosphere was just so perfect for my mood. Then the song 'Puzzle Piece' by NCT Dream came on. I smiled as I gained a slight skip in my step. Jason's part came up and I almost stopped dead in my tracks when I heard his voice. This audio must've been really good because it sounded like he was right in front of me. When I regained my composure I realized that someone was calling my name. I took out one earbud and glanced around before realizing that it was my manager that had probably been trying to get my attention for a while now since I was already almost home. He was panting and I showed my regrets with a wai. He just shook his head with a slight smile and showed me the letter in his hand. 

"You might want to see this." 

I took the paper from him and looked at its printed writing.  

We would love to have Lee Jason showcased in your upcoming drama. He has already agreed to it and has stated that he looks forward to being able to stay in Thailand for the shooting. The role seems to fit him and he is very excited. Send over the dates of the shooting and we will send him over there for a while with the WayV members. They were supposed to have a tour in Thailand anyway. Take good care of him. 

I stood still as I read the letter. 'With the WayV members...' I was about to be doing a bl drama with Jason AND his members would be coming as well. My manager had evened his breathing and smirked at me. 

"Just a friend, Right?" 

My phone dinged and I glanced down to see a message from Jason. 

"Have you heard?!"

I smiled and called him. 

"Have you heard!?!" 

I laughed. 

"Yes. My manager just told me. We start in like a month. Will that be okay for you and your members?" 

"That's perfect. It gives us some time to promote here in Korea and then we will head over there. Are you excited?"

I smiled at his enthusiasm.

"Of course. You're coming over here for for like four months. By the way, where are you gonna stay? Because your members will probably be moving around and they won't always be with you." 

"I'll probably just stay at a nearby hotel. Why?"

My smile dropped. 

"No no no. You can just come stay with me. I don't want you to stay alone and I have plenty of room. Plus we can catch up a little more." 

I heard his laugh come through the line.

"Fine. But just know that I am NOT sleeping on the couch." 

"Deal. But you have to cook for me."

"Ugh. You're so high maintenance."

I laughed once again and shook my head. 

"Okay well I'm gonna go now. My manager and I still need to work out all the details for the series. Be safe." 

"I'm always safe, Joonie."

I hung up and looked over at my manager who was smiling. 

"Just a friend. Huh?" 

I shook my head and smiled a little, blushing slightly. 

"Come on. We have to go and talk to the director about the details." 

He laughed as I basically dragged him away from my house and off to find the director. Like I said, that boy is gonna be the death of me.
