*Genesia's POV*

"You're going to go off by yourself?" Meliodas, Captain of the Seven Deadly Sins and Dragon Sin of Wrath, questions King, Grizzly Sin of Sloth and King of the Fairy King's Forest. "To look for Diane?"

"There's that, too." King explains, sweating. "But also... something's come up that's forcing me to go."

"Why is he leaving?" I ask, almost everyone turning to face my figure, leaning on the doorway. "Well, that's simple. It's because the dead are coming back to life? Isn't that right... Meliodas?" I smirk, the words rolling right off my tongue.

Immediately, he whirls around, his emerald orbs locking onto my amber ones, widening as he recognizes my pale figure.

"Gen...Genesia?!"

I smirk, nodding. "In the flesh, darling. Now, won't you wish me a happy 753rd birthday... or rather, a 3247th deathday?"

He gulps. "B...but how? I saw you die!"

Idiot.

I groan, rolling my eyes. "Doesn't matter. The reason I'm here is for revenge." I hiss at him, and he sighs.

"I suppose I deserve that."

Little does he know that was the absolute worst thing he could have said.

"You suppose?" I say, still shockingly calm. "You idiot. You are the reason I died. You stood there, watching, as I bled to death!"

I then summon Trinity, hearing numerous gasps at what I was saying, while I continue talking.

"You could have saved me, or at least hunted down my murderer, but no! Instead, you just fucking stood there!" I yell at him, as he hangs his head in shame, his head snapping up as I swore. In all the years Meliodas had known me, this was the first time I had sworn.

"Genesia... I kno-"

"No you don't!" I seethe, sending Trinity flying at him. He doesn't even bother to dodge, instead letting the spear pierce his shoulder and send him flying through the wall.

He shakily stands up, pulling Trinity out of his shoulder as I fly through the wall, blood beginning to pour out of the deep wound.

"Trinity: Form Two – Divine Staff Ran." I state coldly, watching as Trinity turns into a staff and flies into my hand.

I flick my hand, and water appears from nowhere, slamming Meliodas into one tree, than another, than another. He's terrified, as he should be. He knows me being quiet and angry is never a good thing.

"You drove my brother, Gloxinia, off the brink of darkness, and made me take that crown. You made my own sister hate me! How... how could you?" By now, tears are pouring from my eyes, and I turn Trinity back to its tenth form, ready to deliver the final blow.

"Gen. Gen, look at me." Meliodas says softly, and I raise my head, shocked to see that he's crying too. "I didn't mean to do that to your brother. And I didn't mean to kill you, you want to know why I stood there? Because I couldn't control my wrath, Gen. If I had done anything about it, I might've wiped out the whole Fairy King's Forest. And we both know you would rather die than let me do that."

I burst out into full-tears, the revelation shocking me, and I fall to the ground, Trinity hovering over me. I hear a figure coming closer to me, and Melio picks me up, carrying me bridal style, as he begins the short walk inside.

"It's alright, Gen." he murmurs to me, petting my hair.

"No it's not!" I whisper-shout at him. "I nearly killed you, Meli! And for no flipping reason!"

He smiles at me softly, remembering the fond nickname.

"It's been good to see you, Meli. But I'll be leaving soon."

His eyes widen at my words, his grip on me slipping as I fall to the ground, landing on my butt with a small 'oof'.

"What on earth do you mean?" he demands. "Why on earth would you leave after all this?!"

I smile weakly, trying to sit up, my vision beginning to blur as my head spins. "The spell used to revive me took control of my rage and regrets to resurrect me; once those are gone, death will await me once again."

Then, with that, I finally give in, darkness clouding my vision and my body thudding to the ground.
