It was lively at the guild like always. People... fighting, Cana drinking her booze, Gray stripping, Erza eating her strawberry cake and Mirajane laughing at Romeo who was scolding his dad for drinking booze so early.
"You know, you should start by getting a job with team Natsu," Mirajane says while giving me a cup
"That's a good idea."
She grins, "Than I will tell Gray to call Lucy, Natsu and Happy and than you can leave for a job."
"Uh-uh," I object, "The good idea was getting a job, without team Natsu."
I finish my coffee and walk over to the request board and take a random job. As I was walking out of the guild I see Lucy coming.
"Amber!! Hey," she greets.
"Blondie," I nod, "Nice seeing you but I gotta go. Later."
I wave at her and leave for my job.
(Lucy's POV)
"Mira-San, were did Amber go?" I ask while taking a seat at the bar.
"On a job."
"Without us?" I frown, "I thought we were a team..."
Mirajane giggles, "She is not exactly a team player. I don't think it will be easy to get her join team Natsu."
"That you are right about," I sigh, "I practically know nothing about her except her name and that she is kinda introverted."
"That's Amber for ya," Mirajane smiles.
I follow her towards Fairy Tail Archives. Apparently, she had to organize some documents that Master asked for, and hanging out with her is better than fishing with Natsu and Happy.
"Whoa, you all got a big place," I mumble.
The archives were huge. How does she even organizes all this stuff on her own. I turn to ask her about it but see she is already reaching out for old documents. She brings some great amount of documents with her. We both sit in the pile of documents. Theses stuff is quite old already. I climb up the ladder to put back some documents.
"So you are not doing a job with others?" she asks.
"Uh... I wanted to but Natsu being childish, wanted to go fishing with Happy. They both began to fight or a raw fish and cooked fish and they completely forgot about me being there. Don't you think that's mean of Natsu?" I rant about them as Plue hands me another book.
She laughs, "Still, that's what is adorable about him. You like his childishness too, Don't you Lucy?"
"Huh?" I ask being caught off guard. I lost my step and fall down the ladder on a pile of documents along with Plue. I burst out laughing because of the silliness.
"You alright?" Mirajane asks, attempting to not laugh.
"Yes, yes..." I laugh out. My eyes fall on a picture that's half peeping out of a book. I take that as Mirajane also comes by my side and observes it carefully. There was a smile on her face.
"Oh that brings back the old memories," She says.
