Y / N's POV
"Oh yeah, I almost forgot about that" I said as I put all my stuff down and sat on a chair in front of my dad.
"Y / N" He said as he came closer and held my hands.
"I got another job, better than my last one!" He said excitedly as I jumped up from my seat to hug him.
"Really ?! Dad that's amazing!" I told him, I was happy for him that at one point I started crying tears of happiness.
"What's wrong, honey?" He said as he patted my back for comfort while we were hugging.
"I'm just really happy for you dad!" I said as we both broke the hug and sat down on the two chairs we had around a tiny table.
"So what job did you get, Dad?" I asked, smiling at him.
"A very prestigious office job M'lady" he said jokingly as I giggled and proceeded to ask him more questions:
"When are you starting work?" I asked.
"Well, In about a week I'm going to have to leave sweetheart" he said, but what does that mean?
"Where are you going to work, which place, is it somewhere near?" as soon as those words left my mouth, my dad gave me an uneasy expression which worried me. Is there something I should know?
"About that ..." He said which got me worried. What's wrong?
"I'm going to have to leave to go to the city and when summer is over and then later after you can come join me." As he said that I froze, I look like I just encountered a 14 headed alien.
"So this is my last summer here? And then I'm-"
"Moving to the city" added my dad as he finished my sentence for me, live in the city? That's a surprise. All my life I've lived in the outskirts but Ladies and Gentlemen, now we are going to the lovely City herself.
"But dad where will we find a place to live?" I asked
"Sweetheart, I got that covered. I found us a nice house that we can afford near my workplace" He explained.
"Dad, honestly, I don't know how to thank you" I said with tears threatening to fall out of my eyes as I hugged him one last time.
"Alright dad, I have to go sleep now" I said to him.
"Ok, Y / N, good luck for tomorrow and goodnight"
"Night, dad" I replied and sped off to my room but I wasn't really planning on sleeping yet, First, I have to write down a list of things I want to do before I leave. I obviously had to tell Eun Ae and Dong-hyun, I want to spend all the time I have with them. I mean, they are the only friends I have.
Now I really need to get some sleep, I'll revise for biology and chemistry on tomorrow's study period with Eun Ae.
