Chapter 8

Location: Y/N's room

Time:  1:43 am

Author's POV

Y/N had been crying for the past hour, she felt so miserable, so apathetic; it's as if she was trapped in a box, screaming for help but only whispers are heard.

She finally managed to pick herself up, putting one knee down and the other supporting her as she unconsciously drops to her bed to properly hold her body and maintain a posture suitable for walking. Her muscles were too weak after hours of crying; she just had no energy left, but she hated herself like this, she wanted to be strong for herself, for her mother watching her from above.

After taking a couple of successful steps, Y/N had reached her suitcase to pick out her nightwear.She placed it on her bed as she then slowly walked to the sink of the bathroom to gently wash her torn face. 

over the span of 20 minutes she finally managed to get to bed, she unraveled the sheets that were covering the mattress of the bed and slowly tucked in and hoped for a better day tomorrow. She sighed and slowly fluttered her eyelashes and finally dived into deep slumber.

THE NEXT MORNING

Time: 9:49 am

Y/N's POV

I hear the uncomfortable sound of my alarm ring over and over again, the sound travelling onto my eyelids, fluttering them until I am fully awake.

I grab onto my head as I sit upright on my bed, I have such a bad headache, but who's to blame? I was crying all night yesterday...

The door made a loud thud, looks like my dad had left for work. Upon hearing that loud noise my head got a stinging pain, I grimaced and held on tightly onto my head. I better get out and get some fresh air, after all, I am not going to face my dad today, I really need to get out.

As Y/N stood up from her bed she reached out for her phone which was charging beside her bedside table, she opened her phone to see that it was 12 o'clock in the afternoon, and that Sung-ho had sent he a message.

*messages* 

10:03 am

Sung-Ho

Good Morning Y/N, hope you're well, I was wondering if you could go out with me later on today to this amazing café I found, it's really close to where you leave but I would like to take you by car since I'm taking you somewhere else too!🤗

Author's POV

You grimaced at your phone, you've only known each other for a few hours but he still wants to take you out somewhere.

You thought about it, last night you were acting so naïve and foolish; how could you fall for him just like that?

"Y/N don't ever fall for anyone at first sight" you thought.

 Nevertheless, you were not in the mood to meet anyone right now, especially some guy you were forced to get together with last night 

 but, you never turn down an opportunity to get out and explore the city a bit, plus you were always the type of person who loves to go out and feel the fresh breeze brush against their face and walk as freely as the wind to anywhere you wanted. A day out would help distract your mind from the mess you are living, so why not?

So you replied...

Morning Sung-ho, I'm doing just fine thank you. Yes, I would love to join you, it sounds fun!

At this point you were laughing at yourself for sounding so malleable, so pusillanimous, as if you could get your feelings hurt and then just act normal the next day...

*Sung-ho is typing...*

That's great, I'll come pick you up at around 11 o'clock if that's fine with you.

Yeah, sounds great.

Also, can you please share your address with me so that I can pick you up haha

Sure haha, I live in Aressa Street, block 43 apartment 3

Okay, thank you can't wait to see you :)

No problem, can't wait to see you too.
