I'm driving home from work and I get a text message, I glance at my phone for a second to read the message, but the second I turned my head to look another car hits me causing me to crash my car into a tree.

I wake up in a hospital room, i look up and see Klaus, Bonnie, and Elena with worried expressions
"What's wrong?" I ask
"Are you okay, love?" Klaus asks me
"Yeah, I feel great" I say
But that's when I start remembering things I shouldn't remember.
I remember what happened to me a few hours ago, I started bleeding a lot, and Elena was next to me. She couldn't control herself and jumped me, drinking a lot of my blood like I was a blood bag. Luckily Klaus heard my screams and came to the rescue, he pushed Elena off of me and gave me his blood. I couldn't stop crying so Klaus decided he should compel me to forget everything that happened.

"Oh my god, I'm a vampire aren't I?" I ask
"I'm sorry, this is all my fault. If I just controlled myself" Elena says
"No it's my fault, I shouldn't have looked at my phone while driving" I say back
"I'll take you home, care" Bonnie says
"No, I'll take her to my house, she needs to learn how to be a vampire. I'll take good care of her"  Klaus tells Bonnie
"She's not going anywhere with you" Bonnie says almost yelling at Klaus
"Caroline you should come with me" Klaus tells me
"Bonnie it's fine, he's not going to hurt me. And he is right I need to learn" I say
"Are you sure, care? You could always stay with me and i could teach you" Elena says
"It's fine, I'll stay with klaus" I tell Elena
As soon as I say that I'm staying with klaus, he smiles showing his dimples, it makes me blush
"Alright, but don't forget we are hanging out after tomorrow" Elena says
"How could I forget?" I say

We got to his mansion, and it was huge. I've never been to his mansion before, even though he asked me multiple times.
"Come with me, I'll show you your room" he tells me as he takes my hand and leads me to my room
"It's right, next to mine" he tells me
"Who are those rooms for?" I ask
"Rebekah, Kol, and Elijah. They live with me" he says
"Ohh okay, good to know. Will they mind me being here?" I ask
" Rebekah has actually been wanting to be your friend. Kol and Elijah have developed a liking towards you. So no, you won't mind." Klaus says as I smile
"Thank you, for welcoming me into your home, and helping me out with being a vampire"
"You're welcome, love" he says
"Okay well goodnight" I say as I walk to my room
It was weird, I couldn't vamp speed, I probably just didn't know how to yet

Four hours has past and I felt weak, and my mouth was dry. I got up to get water which was a bit hard when I saw my reflection on the mirror, I looked dead. I didn't know what was happening to myself, so I used all my strength to yell "Klaus!" Next thing I knew he was in my room
"What's happening to me?" I asked
"You didn't go through with the transition. We were all just arguing about with whom you would stay with" he says with a sad tone
He vamp speeds downstairs and comes back with a blood bag "Here's a blood bag" he says
"Wait, I'm not 100% sure I want to become a vampire" I say
I've never actually really thought about it, I won't be able to have a family, I'll be obsessed with blood, and hunters would want to get me!
"I'm not going to let you die, you're not dying!" He says as he forcefully makes me drink the blood bag
"Why would you do that? I wasn't sure" I say angrily
"I'm sorry love, please forgive me I just couldn't let you die. You mean so much to me" he says like he's about to cry
"I forgive you" I say as I give him a hug and a kiss on the cheek
He didn't even do anything wrong, he just cared about me so much that he couldn't watch me die.
"I'm going to sleep, goodnight love" he tells me
"Goodnight" I reply
