Chapter 5 The Elite Four

we stand at the Pokémon League "I really can't believe I'm here" Rosa says I lay a hand on her back "I knew you would make it Rosa you're a skilled trainer"

"thanks Nate" she hugs me tightly then lets go "alright I'm gonna go in now take down the Elite Four" she waves to me I wave back as the doors close I let out a sigh "good luck in there Rosa" I say then head to the Pokémon center

I walk in to fight the first member Shauntal the ghost type user "there is one man who wanders the world with a white dragon Pokémon to search for truth that's part of a novel I'm writing I want to write down the event that happened on that day sorry it has nothing to do with you you're a challenger right I'm the Elite four's ghost type user Shauntal I shall be your opponent" she sends out Cofagrigus "alright Haxy!" I send her out "Crunch!" Haxy runs over and bites Cofagrigus "Shadow Ball!" A blast of phantom energy is fired "avoid!" Haxy jumps up over it "Dragon Claw!" Cofagrigus faints "Drifblim!" She sends out the flying and ghost hot-air balloon Pokémon "Rairai Thunderbolt!" I command I know that Nate wants this for me so I'll do this for him "Psychic!" Rairai is hit with powerful psychic power "finish this Thunderbolt!" Drifblim goes down I return Rairai "Golurk!" She sends out the large ancient ghost and ground Pokémon "Gené" I send it out I reach into my bag "with the power that this drive holds Genesect change your cannons power and give them a douse of our power!" I throw the Douse Drive as Gené Techno Blast type changes to water "Techno Blast!" Golurk faints in one hit "Banette!" As the small doll looking Pokémon comes out "Arcy Flamethrower!" Arcy blast fire at it for good damage "Shadow Claw!" It scratches Arcy "Play Rough!" I command Banette faints "Chandelure!" She sends out her last "Rairai!" I send her out "an electric type have you resorted to brute force?"

"Surf!?" Chandelure "oops you got confused Surf" it faints before she can use her Full Restore "great battle" I heal everyone and get ready for the next room Grimsley's the user of dark types "what will be determined here is which of us can absorb the opponent's light and shine... But who will decide that? It shall be I Grimsley if the Elite four and I will fulfill my duty to be your opponent now Liepard!" He sends out the cruel Pokémon "Crocro you didn't get a turn last battle here we go!" I send him out "I know your Liepard's strategy it's fast you want strike first but Crocro here was trained off of Basculin so he's super fast now show him your speed X-Scissor!" Crocro speeds over and chops for great damage "well what a skilled trainer knows about EVs Aerial Ace" I nod in almost seconds Crocro flicks back "now punish it with Cross Poison!" It faints as he sends out Scrafty "Crocro Fly to the skies!" He zooms up he waits trying to anticipate the drop I don't even say anything as Crocro zooms down from nowhere Scrafty faints "me and my Pokémon are so in sync you can't anticipate us we know what to do without speaking"

"huh you're good at this Krookodile!"

"Crocro come back now Gené"

"bug steel type what's your card I suspect you aren't going for the obvious bug is good against dark"

"you got me with the power that this drive holds Genesect change your cannons power and get him chilly" I throw the Chill Drive "Gene!" He cries fired up "don't get to fired up don't want to melt it Techno Blast!" It fires a light blue blast of pure cold energy Krookodile takes good damage "Crunch!" It bites Gené "now Bug Buzz!" Krookodile goes down I return it and get ready for what's next "Absol" I send out Arcy "an Absol without Psycho Cut is unusual at least that's the kind of strategy I think you'd go for you want to strike first so having a move that you can use when you're at a disadvantage is a good plan but I'm two steps ahead of you Play Rough!" Absol faints "Play Rough takes the targets physical attack and turns it on them and Absol's attack stat is crazy high now what's your ace?" He sends out Bisharp "Arcy let's get him warmed up a bit Flamethrower"
