Black. It was pitch black wherever I was. Or...wait. Maybe I'm asleep? No. I struggled to slowly open my eyes and tried to make sense of my new surroundings. Cars... I could hear them in the distance so I'm guessing I'm outside. I could make out a small light flickering so I must be in an alley somewhere. I look around. "I-is someone there?" I barely manage to whisper. I could just make out something...or I guess someone with a tail? Sort of like a fox I guess. It was nearly impossible for anyone to hear my small voice but they seemed to hear me perfectly clear. Suddenly a hand was covering my mouth. "shush... or they'll find us." Their words were like the wind and blew gently through my mind. Somehow that small sentence explained much more than just normal words, like I could sense the real danger of the situation. Something was up.
I followed the strangers' simple directions hoping to stay safe from whatever the actual danger was. It wasn't long before I heard footsteps coming our way and then just like that I was knocked out again.
AN: Oh hey, I haven't even looked at this for like 5 months but 'cause of request I decided, what the heck. I don't have much time to work on it atm. Sorry this chapter is so short but I have plans to continue this and hopefully make it awesome! This is just a teaser for more to come. ^_^
