Ugh this again... waking up after being drugged and knocked out for the second time wasn't exactly the best experience.
I had a huge headache and finding myself in another new and confusing place wasn't helping.

All I wanted was to do my dumb job and go back home but I've just managed to get into trouble.

As I tried to regain my thoughts I fully opened my eyes to try and figure out where I was now. This place seemed surprisingly familiar in a weird way. It was so nice. The atmosphere to it was warm, happy, gentle, and calm. I found myself laying down on a half beaten couch. Torn, but still comfortable enough for relaxing. The rest of the room was a bit messy, but in an organized way. There were research papers scattered everywhere, many tall bookshelves, cool looking artifacts, and the occasional wrapper or piece of trash.

My eyes trailed around the room, following the bright orange walls until I finally noticed something even more brilliant. In front of me was a dusty glass door. Light from the beautiful sunrise was shining through into the room, lighting up as many dark corners as it could reach. The scenery was amazing. It looked as though we were just outside the city, not too many buildings in the distance and not too much wilderness. I couldn't help but smile.

My hypnotic analysis of my surroundings was interrupted by the swift move of a tail in my vision. Just like the one I remembered before i got knocked out again...! This was really strange, the figure looked like a normal, not to mention attractive, guy, but he had the tail and ears of a fox. His eyes trailed over to mine and he smiled widely. I was still so shocked that I just kept staring at him, it's not everyday that you see someone like that. He started giggling madly and wrapped his tail around himself while twitching his ears. I'm not sure why but it made me giggle too. I couldn't help it, he was adorable.

Once we were done laughing at each other the fox slid open the glass door and walked over to greet me. "Hi!" he exclaimed. He quickly covered his mouth. "Sorry," he whispered "I forgot that Steven was still sleeping." I automatically affiliated the name Steven with wolf. I felt like I knew that name from somewhere before but I just couldn't put my finger on it. "Oh.." I whispered back. Why did everything seem so familiar? "So...  your name's (y/n), right?" What? "How did you know that?" I replied, slightly confused. "Special secret." he said, a sly smile on his face. I thought for a moment and then let it go. "So then, what's your name?" I questioned, eagerly wanting to know more about him. "Well, it can be whatever you want it to be really, but I prefer to go by..." I abruptly cut him off. "Sly, right?" He smiled again. "Wow how did you know that?" How did I know that? "Uh.. I'm not too sure really. I guess it just felt right?"  "Ha ha, cool." he said as one of his ears twitched a bit. He looked behind me inquisitively. Maybe he heard something?

It was silent for a few seconds until suddenly "Woof!" (That woof sounded nothing like a wolf, or even a dog.) Another guy with a tail and animal ears, but this time those of a wolf, jumped over and almost tackled Sly. "God Damn it Steven!" he yelled in between giggles. I laughed with him. The wolf, or Steven as Sly said his name was had a smug look on his face. "Did you like my sneak attack?" he joked. "Yes Steven, that was great." I said sarcastically. His facial expression quickly changed to a fake kind of upset. He looked back over at Sly. "Aww dude! Did you tell her my name already?" he whined. "Um...yeah?" Sly replied trying hard not to laugh at his goofy companion, but somewhat failing. Steven turned back to me and looked me straight in the eye. "(y/nickn) don't believe him! My name is actually Swag Master." he said fake-desperately. "Sure, Steven." I smoothly replied, also trying hard not to laugh. I also made sure to put extra emphasis on his name to bother him. He giggled a little and we all laughed together. A horrible night was healed with a somewhat calming morning.

AN: I am SO SOOOOO sorry that this took so long for me to upload, I'm just so lazy and haven't been setting aside the time to work on this. I hope that this part is somewhat worth it and I'll try to get the next part up sooner >_<
