Happy New Year !
The noise sorrounded the whole area, our neigbhours launched their fireworks as we blow our trumpets and shouted "HappyNewYear" welcoming year 2015 and casting away bad spirits. Thats the tradition right? 2014 wasn't a bad year tho, there are bad times yet it would be immediately replaced with good ones. 'You Can't have a rainbow without a little rain' thats what they said.
"Kainan na! Media Noche time Ate ;)" my little sister said and swallowed the whole grapes.
"Oh, akala ko kainan na? ba't ikaw lang kumakain diyan?" I said while heading towards the table where the foods are at.
"Kaya nga tinawag kita diba? duhhh" she smiled "Happy new year ate, I lab u" she planted a kiss on my right cheek.
"Happy new year then Ji" I hugged her so tight, kasi nang gigigil ako. My sister's so cute.
"Bomi at Eunji, tara na. Uubosan ko kayo ng Ham sige kayo" my mom teased
"opo , dito na po"
"Happy New Year Mommy" we greeted her in chorus, and kissed her on both cheeks. She smiled "Happy new year din mga anak"
"Mommy nyo lang igi-greet nyo, chaka i hu-hug?" dad said "selos naman ako"
"ayyy naku dad" we looked together sa tablet, dun kasi kami nag sk-skype "ang OA mo naman, Happy new year daddy, we love you and we missed you so much" Yes, dad is on abroad. hindi timing ang uwi niya, kakaalis lang niya last november and 6 months contract niya sa company, buti nalang at my Wifi sa barko nila so nakakapag skype namn kami kahit papaano.
Natapos na din ang media noche pero hindi pa tapos ang iba naming kapitbahay sa pagpapaputok, wow yaman ! xD
Nag aya ang mga kabarkada ko na mag gimik and turned them down, I dont like late night parties. Nakakabagot, I'd rather read books and watch movies. Yeah, that could be boring but not for me ;)
As I was gazing at a clear night sky, I mean dawn. A shooting star passed by, and I closed my eyes and wished 'I want something new'.
