Jade😝: i guess her ex really broke her heart and she's scared to be in a new relationship

LeeLee💄: but you wouldn't hurt her, would you?

Jade😝: of course not

Jade😝: i've tried to tell her that

LeeLee💄: just give her time

LeeLee💄: no one can resist the thirlwall charm for long 😏

Jade😝: yeah ok i'll try

LeeLee💄: hang in there jade

LeeLee💄: anyone with eyes can tell that she's into you too

Pez🥰: how was your day today

Jade😅: fine

Pez🥰: is something wrong?

Pez🥰: you haven't talked to me all day

Jade😅: nothing's wrong

Pez🥰: uh ok

Jade😅: i'm just tired y'know

Jade😅: long day at work

Pez🥰: oh ok

Pez🥰: i'm tired too

Pez🥰: i can't sleep

Jade😅: why's that?

Pez🥰: the storm tonight

Pez🥰: i don't like thunder 😔

Jade😅: awww that's cute

Pez🥰: can i call you?

Pez🥰: i could really use another person right now

Jade😅: uh sure

INCOMING CALL FROM Pez🥰

A small smile appeared on Jade's face when she saw the familiar name light up on her screen. She took a deep breath before pressing answer and bringing her phone to her face.

"Hi..." Jade's voice came out a little raspy due to her sleepiness.

"H-Hey." Perrie was taken off guard by how....hot Jade's voice sounded.

"You okay?"

"Yeah I'm okay. Thunder storms just make me anxious." Perrie said in a low voice.

"Don't worry babe, I'm here for you. Everything's gonna be alright."

Perrie blushed at Jade's words and nuzzled her head into her pillow. She didn't know why she even called Jade in the first place. Whenever there was a storm she usually just toughed it out on her own, but tonight she felt a strong need to hear Jade's voice.

"Can you just stay on the phone until I fall asleep?" Perrie asked shyly.

Jade felt herself smiling uncontrollably. Just when she thought Perrie couldn't get any cuter. God, I'm in trouble.

"Anything for you, Pez."

Perrie felt an overwhelming sense of protection wash over her. Jade's presence immediately made her feel calm and safe. She felt like she could finally fall asleep now.

After a few minutes Jade heard Perrie's soft snoring through her phone. She smiled to herself and whispered, "Goodnight love," before hanging up.

Jade would've stayed on the phone all night and fell asleep while listening to Perrie, but she didn't want to overstep any boundaries of their friendship. She really cared about her, and she didn't want to do anything to make the younger girl uncomfortable.
If Perrie wasn't ready for anything yet, that was perfectly okay. Jade would wait for as long as she needed.

She rolled over and pulled her blanket up to her shoulder while smiling to herself. I know Perrie is mine, she just hasn't realized it yet.
