"19!" the guy behind the counter yelled. It was us so Luke ran inside while I sat outside on the chairs. I got up and we walked side by side. "So you live with your parents?" Luke asked. "Uhh well My mum had passed away in a fire incident when I was 3. My dad is now with my bitch of a stepmother and I never listen to her. She has never been a part of my life. My dad tried to convince me she was my mother when I was very young but I seriously wasn't that dumb. She used to bash me around and slap me if I spoke back to her. Ever since I was 13 I quit listening to her and went out with friends and smoked and drank alcohol. It was very fun because I got in so much trouble with the police. I have quit doing that now I have learnt my lesson." I answered. "Holy shit well you were a bit of a rebel Tan." Luke said.

Luke's POV

She looks like a girl who would always be doing work and studying for tomorrow's maths test. It never came to mind that she used to behave like that. We got to my house and she took the chips to the boys who were still playing around in the garage. They have been there for ages but thats usually what we do every afternoon. "Hey Luke come and play with us! We need to reherse mate." Ashton said. "I'm really quite tired aye boys. I will tomorrow if that's alright?" I took Tan up stairs to my bedroom and we hung out there. Once we finished eating I brought her over to cuddle with me while we watched TV. "You alright Tan?" I asked her. "Yeah I'm not feeling too well thats all." she finished. She hoped up and crawled out of bed. Walked over into the bathroom and closed the door behind her. She wasn't looking a 100% and I knew there was something wrong. I walked up and knocked on the door. "Hey Tan what's wrong babe?" I heard vomiting and thought to myself she didn't eat anything. She had a small pot of mash and gravy but that was all. She came out and hugged me tightly. "Tan do you wanted some Panadol at all? I'll go get you some water and a tablet." I suggested. "No all I want is to go down the shops and get a pregnancy test..." Tan said with a sigh at the end. Tears started to form in her eyes and one rolled down her cheek. "A what? Wait why?" I asked with a sound of shock in my voice. I had a little think about it and forgot to use protection. "Fuck!" I yelled. Her tears became heavier as I yelled and I grabbed her coat and slipped on my shoes and headed out the door to the corner shops. "Hey babe it's alright. You never know if it's going to be positive but if it is I promise I will stay with you alright?" I said trying to comfort her. I put my arm around her shoulder and we walked back down. There was light rain but it wasn't going to get heavy. 

We popped in quickly and went down the right aisle. I looked at all the different brands. Farout this was hard. I did a guess and grabbed some random one that looked good. Tan walked away from me and I figured she just needed some air so I let her go out with no questioning. I walked over to the counter and pulled out my wallet then paid.  I walked outside and was shocked to see she was sitting on the ground with her head in her knees. She was crying even more and I was all to blame. "Oh shit what happened?" I asked. "I just don't want a child at this age. My dad is going to be disappointed in me and how are you going to tell your parents?  Fuck my life is over. How am I going to get a proper job. I'm going to get bullied at school and you are going to leave me too." Tan said in disapointment. "No I will stay with you like i said before. I am not a fucking jerk who will run away and trust me if they say shit at school I'm always here for you." I said placing a kiss on her forehead. I grabbed her hand and helped her up. We walked out of the alley way she was sitting in and back to my house. "Oh what's wrong with Tanya? You guys alright?" Calum asked running over to her. "Yeah look it's fine. Just some uhh family issues. She has no where to stay tonight so I made plans with her to stay here..." I said. I didn't want to tell them. It's her decision and we don't even know if it is positive. I took her up stairs back to my bedroom. "Do you want to go have a lay down and get this stress of your shoulders?" I asked politely. I didn't want to put her under more stress and make her worry even more. "It'll be fine babe. I'm going to downstairs and try and reherse with the boys. If you need anything give me a bell." I said while walking out briskly down the stairs. I felt really quite strange about having a child at this age. But if she wants to keep it she can. I'm not into abortion as I think its like murder. It basically is to be honest.

"Hey boys! How you've been?" "Oh yeah this practice is a bit useless without you. You being the lead singer and shit you are probably the main thing we need right now." Mikey said. "Oh umm yeah well you guys could of practiced the ohh god what is that song again." "Year 3000?" Cal said interrupting me. "Yes that one!" I said quickly pointing at him. "Luke you need to be in that. You start the song off you dumbass." Cal sighed. "I fell really bad that I hadn't been down here all afternoon but c'mon I made a friend." I said with a smile on my face. *a fake cough* "A very close friend." *a fake cough* Ashton mumbled. I just ignored them and sat down on the chair reserved for me. Mikey picked up his acoustic, Calum grabbed his bass and Ash plopped his ass on the box drum. "One day when I came home at lunch time I heard a funny noise..." I started to sing. 

Tanya's POV

I heard a loud banging noise come from outside. I figured it was the boys but holy crap someone was singing and it was like an angel. I jumped out of his bed and tried to dodge the mess that was everywhere in his room. I snuck downstairs to see his mother in the kitchen. "Oh fuck!" I whispered to myself. I tiptoed out through the front room in my socks knowing that I wouldn't make much noise considering I'm wearing socks. I quietly turned to the door  knob which was connected to the front door and closed it softly. "Phew..." I said wiping my forehead. I stepped right onto the wet ground without realising it was flooded  with rain. "Oh fuck now my socks are wet!" Oh well I'm not risking it going back inside and getting caught by his mother. Well I supposed she was. They looked alike. I walked around the corner to see all of them practicing. Luke was singing in the highest note stopped all of a sudden realising I was standing there like an idiot smiling at them. "Oh umm sorry what do you want baby?" Luke said running up to me trying to take my back inside. "I want nothing, just heard someone playing music and figured it was you boys. God it's beautiful Luke!" I said with a big cheesy grin on my face. "Umm no we still have so much practice to do. Right now that sounds terrible and I need to try and get my notes higher." Luke said rubbing the back of his neck looking concerned. I turned around and stood on my tippy toes cupping his face in my hands. I looked at his lips and kissed him right there in the rain. "Oh god Lucas you are one of a kind aye. You can never take compliments." I said. "Why don't I take you back to my bedroom while you rest even more because you didn't have any!" Luke said. "Oh no no no your mother is home and I don't want her to see me. I will get kicked out." I said sounding frightened. "No need to worry. I will tell her you got kicked out of home and need somewhere to stay. She will understand." Luke told me walking me inside. I wish my mother let me have boys over. This was a weird experience for me. "Hey mum! How was work?" Luke asked his mother. "Oh yeah it was alright. Kids were really bad today but other than that it was the usual. Oh and I see you brought a friend home. Mind asking her for her name?" His mum said. "This is Tanya and Tan this is my mum as you would already figured out." "Yo the name is Liz. What have you kids been up to? Roaming the streets? Liz said. "No mum we were rehersing and playing the Xbox." Luke said with embarrassment on his face. "Oh well that ain't any fun for your girl Luke!" Liz said giving him a little punch ion the arm. His mum seemed pretty chilled back and really cool. "How you doing girl?" Liz asked with a wink. "Mum stop. This is so embarrassing. Stop trying to be 'cool'. Luke said with an annoyed look on his face. "Fine Lucas. You never want to have some fun. It's getting terribly late. You guys should be in bed! Tanya I will go get you a pillow aye." Liz said. "Yeah okay mum but I have to go get the boys." Luke said walki8ng out the door grabbing an umbrella. "Oii Luke you mind if we camp out in your garage again tonight? Too wet to walk home." Ash asked. "Yeah alright. Oh and I'm going to go to bed so ceya boys." Luke said and walked back inside upstairs into bed.
