One Big Adventure

So Luke and I walked out of the house and locked the door behind us. When we walked past the garage Luke checked to see if the boys were there. "Nope they have gone to school." he said. "So they just leave without you?" I asked. "Yeah I usually get my mum to drop me off if she works at a later time or if she doesn't, I go and catch the bus. I'm always getting up late and usually get to school late. But seriously fuck school." Luke said ending with a slight laugh. We decided to walk there and he said it wasn't far so thankgod. I was already tired from walking up the steep driveway and down the road a little bit. I'm not an athletic girl as I used to always convince my sports teachers I had an injury. Me and Luke had a good chat just trying to get to know eachother a bit more. "So why exactly did you move to Australia? Like it's an amazing country and I'm not complaing you're here. Just want to hear your story." Luke asked. "Well I moved here with my mum since her and dad were having a lot of problems and she didn't want to deal with him so she got me and moved out of the country. My sister and dad are back home and will be for as long as possible. Once I get a job and all I will fly out to see them." I said. "What about you Luke?" Luke paused for a while. "Hey what's up?" "It's just I uhh I don't really like my life at the moment but ever since you've come into it, it's made me so much more happier. I have always been at Norwest and I like it here it's just the people. I got bullied a lot when I was younger because I could sing well and I was really shy. It is all very confusing because if you can sing well you shouldn't really be getting teased about it..." I was very shocked to hear this beautiful boy got bullied. He was so young and to be honest I didn't even know what bullying was when I was that age. It is so unbelievable. "Yeah well when I got to about grade 8/9, I started to do something very wrong. I use to self harm and it would get to the point where I didn't want to be here anymore. I met the boys and thats when I stopped because they made me feel wanted and with other friends who could sing I wasn't getting bullied as much anymore." Luke said looking down at his feet.

"Luke I can't believe this. You use to self harm!? But boy you are perfect and I don't want to heae anything like this. Is that why you wear so many wrist bands on your left wrist?" I asked him. "Yeah sadly. I tell everyone that I just like to wear them and its just who I am. Here I will show you the scars..." he said. He pulled up his hoodie sleeve and removed the bracelets. There were so many. It made me so scared. I just burst into tears. I couldn't handle this anymore. Luke wrapped his arms around me tightly and we just stood there while I was crying on his shoulder. "Luke." "Yeah?" "Promise me you won't ever do this again?" "That's something really hard to keep but just for you, yes." I was so upset that he would self harm. He doesn't seem like one of those people but I guess you don't know their story until you know them. 

We walked for a while and ended up in this little park where there was a bench. I walked over and sat down on the table while Luke sat on the chair like a normal person. "I'm so sorry for making you bring up that story Luke." I apologized. "Nahh it's okay. You needed to know anyway. No point in keeping it to myself." He grabbed my hand and locked his fingers in between mine. "Luke, this may be a bit sudden and we don't really know eachother but, I love you." I said with a tremble in my voice. Fuck I thought to myself. I'm so stupid. Why would I say that because he obviously won't feel the same towards me. Boys never do. "I love you too Tan." Luke said with a little smile on his face.He stretched up and gave me a little kiss. We stayed at the park for ages until I started to get a big peckish. "Hey can we go get some food? I actually so hungry!" I said to him.
