During the nighttime, a van drives into the neighborhood of Redwood Heights in Oakland, California.
The van is all-black with tinted windows, on the side of it are large words that read 'Wattson's Energy Repair'.
It is near midnight, and most of the neighborhood's residents are asleep. Some are still awake and notice the van outside, either by seeing from out of their living rooms or are were walking passed it on the sidewalk. But none of them pay much mind to passing vehicle. The van's appearance does its job in deceiving the unaware occupants.
The van then turns onto a side street, and parks by the sidewalk. It is parked on the side of the road, and is turned off by its operator.
The van sits by the sidewalk, motionless.
The people inside are calmly waiting for the proper moment to exit the vehicle.
Once the lights finally were finally turned off in the last few remaining houses, three men dressed in all-black jumpsuits and face masks, sprang out of the vehicle.
The tallest of the group exited from the drivers seat. The other two slid the panel door open and exited from the side. One of the men was carrying a large duffle-bag over his shoulder. The smaller of the two men was carrying a duffle-bag, and a backpack on his back.

The tallest man turned to his associates and asked, "What house was it?".

"4831; now keep you voice down", the man next to him whispered.

The shortest man of the group looked around and said, "Wait, we're too far down; the house is two blocks down that way!".

The man pointed down the straight to where the house they were trying to infiltrate was located.

"Why would you park is way down here you idiot?", the short man asked the tallest one.

"Because Duncan, can't have the van too close or else the residents might get suspicious", the man replied.

Duncan's eyes looked as if they trying to burn a hole through the tall man's head, "Don't day my name, for one, you dumb-ass; for two, the whole point of parking near the house is for a quick getaway incase something goes wrong!".

"But, the neighbors might get suspicious", the man said.

The other man with them stepped in, trying not to raise his voice too loudly, "You don't think that them seeing three men run down the street in all black won't make them a tad bit suspicious you idiot!".

The two men looked at their idiotic friend with harsh eyes. Duncan cursed him out silently, while the other man just slapped his head in disbelief of the man's idiocy.

"Whatever, it'll raise too much curiosity if someone spots the man moving a short distance like that. We'll just go on foot, but if anything happens, I'm going to wring your neck dry", he said while pointing to the large man.

Even with his mask on, the man's eyes showed the amount fear his colleague had put in him with those few words.
The three men began to make their way down the street to the house they were targeting. Careful not to make any sounds, or needlessly alert anyone of their presence.
They travelled like spirits; not making a sound, except for the largest man who's feet made grinding noise against the gravel.
Annoyed, the smallest man turned around to punch the man in his gut.

"Can you be any louder!", the man whispered-yelled at him.

"Sorry man, it's just my feet, it can't be helped", the large man complained.

"You're going to need professional help if you mess this up!", Duncan shot back at him.

The head thief raised his hand towards his two partners to single them to quiet down.
They had made it to the house they were heading for.
It was a white two-story that was larger than any other house on the block.
In-front of it stood a tall oak tree.
The men all gathered behind it to scope out the house at a closer distance. On the side of the house was a gate, which was covered by an electrical fence.
Duncan slung the bag from off of his back, and took a computer out of it.
He opened it up and started to input a code into a computer program he was uploading.
Within fifteen seconds, a green light on the fence turned red, signaling that it had been shut off.
The men then raced to the gate as quickly as possible. The tallest man gave a leg-up so each of his cohorts could make it over the fence. He then pulled himself over the gate, albeit scratching himself on the barbed fencing.
Once they were all on the side of the house, they walked over to ground-level window that led to the basement.
