Greg was standing on top of a large building. But he wasn't sure where he was exactly, he had never seen this building before. The sky was grey, and everything around Greg was burning.
From where he was standing, it looked like the smoke from the flames had inter heated themselves into the clouds above.
He walked towards the edge of the building, and looked down at the street below.
On the street-level, he could see Drakon defending Sanai from an oncoming assault of drones.
Sanai was holding someone, she wasn't sure who it was, but he could make out very few details of the person.
It was light-skin boy with dreadlocks, and his face was covered with blood.
Greg couldn't tell, but he assumed that Sanai was crying.'Is he a friend of hers?'
Greg watched as Drakon continued to repel the drones that were surrounding them.
But a few drones were circling above him, and Greg could see they were charging up to fire an attack.
Greg wanted to move so he could destroy the machines, but his body wouldn't allow him to.
The drones kept charging up, and in a blinding flash, an explosion rocked the entire city block.
Drakon was thrown into the side of the building, and caused another earth-shaking vibration as his body hit the ground.
The smoke cleared from around the blast zone, and Greg could see the horrors below.
Bodies littered the ground, and Sanai was still there. She still held the boys body in her hand, but all that could be seen from her face was pain.
Greg realized she was no longer crying for the boy; she was crying for Drakon.
He had died while defending her from the blast.
Greg dropped to his knees and cried out as his saw his friend's lifeless body sprawled on the ground.
Suddenly, a white light appeared in the sky.
It stretched out over all of Greg's surroundings, until all there was was light.Greg burst out of his sleep; parts of his body steaming with energy.
He looked to his right and saw that Sanai was sound asleep next to him.
He hopped out of bed and ran downstairs to the basement.
Once he was down there, he saw Drakon, fast asleep with the television still on. On top of Drakon was Kali, a dog that he befriended two years ago.
Greg turned the television off for the sleeping beast.
Drakon's snores vibrates the floor beneath Greg. It was a sensation Greg was happy to feel; Drakon was still here and still alive.
Greg was distraught though; the dream he had was like the one he had two years ago. The dream where he relived his time being experimented on. That dream was just Greg reliving a past experience. But this dream never happened to Greg, and he wasn't sure what it was.
