The day i signed up for something new
A relationship, A love story
It was when i found my prince
When i gave my heart to him
When i promise to love and care for him
Not by marriage but by heart
It was the least i could do or give him

You became my bestfriend for many years
You loved me despite my flaws
Always said i was beautiful in your eyes
May have not been my first love but indeed are my last
I can't see myself with someone else but you
And it hurts cause you're no longer mine

Maybe what i gave you wasn't enough
Maybe my heart didn't give you the love you needed
Maybe I failed to show how much i care
But i had never thought you'd give us up
That you'd leave without one glance back
I know i'll move on but not today, not right now
My heart isn't ready to let you go

So i let my heart wait patiently for you
I let it heal with time silently hoping you'd come back
But please don't keep me waiting,
my heart will have to let you go at some point
Because the pain will be too much too bare
As much as i love you i know i have to give up hope
Hope that maybe there's a little chance for us to fall again
