Chapter Eight

Three days had passed since the arrival at the new pack. They finally accepted us as people of the same pack and it was refreshing from all the glares we received first coming in. The past three days seemed to have been mating season since the newly found mates mated and began their plans for their marking ceremonies, while the mateless ones walked around hopeless with hope they would find their mates like so many had done. I had actually forgotten that I was now old enough to find my mate. My birthday was the day we had first arrived and had completely slipped my mind. But I wasn't looking much less finding my mate. I wanted some years alone to get my life straight and become a good mate. It didn't help that my brother and Ana kept going to the bedroom to act like rabbits but they were happy and that's all that mattered. Of course Reese and I completely agreed to not be like them and swore of mates until we were atleast twenty. Hopefully it would turn out that way. So while Ana and David totally slacked off Reese and I actually studied for the test that would show were our rank is in the pack. From the friends we made here had told us it waa brutal. But definitely necessary to stabilize the pack. I just hoped I didn't make a fool of my self. The tests held a physical,mental and then full inspection of our wolfs. I was pretty intelligent for my 16 years and not too bad out of shape but I was nervous about showing my wolf to complete strangers. I was small but quick and strangely strong for such a pup like wolf. But I was proud non the less. Confident I would be alright I looked forward to a bright future.

Ok I know that was really short and I know this is much later than when I normally post but with school and rotc and then cap... So I will make it up to you by posting a new long chapter tomorrow morning and at my lunch time and if you really hate me then when I get home. So pllleeeeaaasssseeeee don't hate me enough not to comment or vote and definitely keep reading. This is only the beginning that just keeps getting better and better. LOVE YA BUNCHES!!!! ;)
