I'm the Darkness, My Mate is the Light

Chapter Fifteen

So i found out what's wrong with me Tuesday. I have some sorta anxiety disorder that causes me to have some real bad panic attacks. So doc decided to put me on some meds and take me to a cardiologist. So now that I know what is going on I'm pretty sure I can write another chapter :) so here's the long awaited chapter Fifteen.

"I hope you don't mind us crashing your dinner Say?" Michael says. I smile and say " Of course not Mike. Yall come on in." I step back and let the group come in. I led them to the dinning area where my mate awaited. He smiled as I introduced everyone, but only nodded at the twins. I made a mental note to ask why later. "Take a seat everyone" I said. Smelling the food I heard everyone's stomach growl. Laughing I began the meal. A little while later Reece and I were talking about some music we had heard when a figure burst through the door.

I didn't recognize the scent so a low growl worked it's way from my chest. I felt a large hand cover my dainty ones and my body immediately relaxed. I looked over at Chance and he gave me a heart breaking smile, then turned towards to person. I too look at the male walking towards us. To say he was gorgeous was understatement. He had dark brown hair, slightly styled, chocolate eyes. He stood about 5'10 with lots of lean muscles. He had one of those confident smirks that matched the power pouring off of him. His scent was that of chocolate and something else that reminded me of summer rain.

"Jake, so glad you decided to join us.", my mate said.

"Everyone this is my Beta, Jake Dillinger."Chance said

We all said our hellos and Jake pulled up a seat next to Chance. The rest of the dinner went by with no other disruptions and I fairly enjoyed myself. It was good for Chance to meet my little band of misfits. My family.

Heading back to our room I could only picture our bed with me sleeping in it. I was so tired I couldn't wait to slip in between the sheets and sleep for maybe ever. Once inside I slipped off the dress, threw on one of chances t- shirts, washed my face and brushed my teeth and then headed towards the bed. Getting in bed I let out a sigh of contentment and smiled when warm arms wrapped around me. I snuggled into his chest and listened to his heart beat. "I love your friends Say. I can tell they love you too. " I smiled and fell asleep.
