Chapter 2 Judy Burke

I was sitting in the library ready that book, the book that I had randomly found in a free pile, I told Willa that was in the library on one of the shelves. If I told her the truth she would freak out. she was freaked out enough.I had been reading this book for about 2 weeks now, I always made sure that all the library doors were locked. 

We always came to school two hours before we were supposed to. We crept in the door in the back were there were no security cameras and most of the teachers did not know about. This was the most illegal thing probably ANYONE has ever done, and yet two 11 year old girls are pulling it off. Willa keeps on asking how long I will be doing this and I could just put the book back and let some one else find it. 

Why is the topic so illegal? The language spoken out side of the wall (Lixie) cant be that bad, can it?

The wall is a huge cement wall that blocks our kingdom from the outside world. Nobody knows why the elders decided to put it up, some say it was from war, some say that there is no outside world but we knew that there was something out there and we were going to find it! We were trying to act normal when people asked questions. We had almost slipped up too many times to count, when I say we I mean Willa she is very bad at lying.

Willa likes blending in with the crowed and is obsessed about how popular I am. I just wish she notices that she is beautiful in her very own way!! 

 We have not fully put together a plan yet. Mostly read the book is as far as we have got.
