TRIGGER WARNING: Slurs, bullying, etc. Let me know if I missed any.

Luke POV

I wince as my back is slammed back against the lockers. "Pathetic. The fag can't even fight back." Hale sneers.

I shut my eyes, trying to will the tears away. "Look at me when I speak to you bitch." He snarls, pushing me harder into the lockers. My eyes fly open.

"Aw, the little fairy is crying. Gonna whine to your mommy? Oh wait, you can't, cause you're too retarded to talk." Hale cackles. "I'll give you a reason to cry."

He grabs my hair and throws me onto the floor. I curl up as much as I can, protecting my head and ribs; silent tears dripping down my cheeks. I gasp as I feel his boot hit my side.

I curl further into myself, struggling to regain breath as he continues his assault.

He eventually stops, grabbing my hair and lifting my head level with his. "One word of this and you won't walk for a while." He seethes, throwing my head on the ground and strutting away.

I lay there, steadying my breathing. After a minute I haul myself up and to the boys bathroom.

At least he didn't hit my face. I sigh. I lift my shirt shakily, grimacing at the large bruise covering my side. I can hide these.

I yank my shirt back down and splash cold water on my face to make my face less puffy and red.

I finally look decent enough to join my boyfriends at lunch. I trudge my way to the cafeteria, dreading seeing their worried faces. The cafeteria is as noisy as ever. I keep my head down and walk on auto pilot to our table.

I wince as a smaller body launches it's self at me. "Lukey! What took you so long?" Mikey asks, looking up at me with his bright green eyes.

'My teacher needed to talk to me.' I wrap my arm around him as he reads it and we sit down.

Ashton looks skeptical and I send him a pleading look for him to drop it, which he reluctantly did. "So, are you guys coming to my game Saturday?" Calum asks, unaware. I nod, a small smile spreading on my face. "Wouldn't miss it for the world babe." Ashton says.

'Do you guys wanna hang out after practice? Mum wants to meet you guys.' I hand Mikey my phone again so I can start eating.

"Yeah, I also have practice so I'll meet you in the rink." Calum says through a mouth full of food. "I just need to let Mum know." Ash smiles. "I'll be there." Mikey says, handing me my phone back and snuggling into my side.

'So, we all meet in the rink so we can leave after practice?'

"Yeah, Mikey and I'll be there right after class." Ash says. "Sounds like a plan." Cal says, grabbing everyone's trash and running it to the garbage can.

Before he can sit back in his seat Ashton grabs him, pulling the tan boy onto his lap. "Okay then." He laughs, snuggling into Ashton's warm chest.

As lunch continues, we talk about respective practices and upcoming games and performances; and I feel Mikey fully slump against me. I look down to see him fighting to keep his eyes open.

'If you're tired babe, take a nap; I'll wake you for class.' I show him my phone as I pull him closer. He smiles sleepily and finally shuts his eyes.

"Adorable.' Calum coos from Ashton's lap. "Same could be said for you baby." Ash teases. I smile at my beautiful boyfriends, running my hands through Mikey's now lilac hair and wrap my ankle around Ashton's.
