Everyone wants to fall in love, it's a given. But as of today, it's a given that I make it through the first day of college, or out of my doorway before my Dad explodes into tears.
It's sunny today, but it had just rained and nothings better than humidity... Whatever I'll be in the car anyways so it doesn't matter. Hopefully the ride won't be too long, I hate long car rides even if I'm not driving. Sitting inside a car for several hours isn't really something I look forward to but what can I expect, I'm travelling to central Busan from Seoul.
"Y/N do you have your tooth brush, spare hangers, tamp-"

"Okayyyy... Dad I really don't need that." I chuckle as I cut my dad off as he has a suffocating tight grip on my body as we say our goodbyes.
But seriously does he need to ask that -

He let's go of his tight hug and I can see a tear roll down his face.
"Uh.. Dad don't cry, I'll be back in the winter." I groan as he is embarrassed me in front of the entire neighbourhood, I guess you could say he was a little bit too excited about the whole 'College in Busan' thing, I mean he brought the whole ass neighbourhood, but I know he means well.
My time as a senior is over, I've graduated college it's time to let go of my childhood. Fears regrets and broken hearts isn't the Y/N I want to be. As of today I start fresh, a whole new identity. Let's just hope I don't get expelled.

I almost start crying as I see all my neighbours waving goodbye and wiping their tears away, but somehow I find their heartfelt gestures a bit dramatic don't you think.
I roll down my window and wave while focusing on driving. I almost started crying myself, I guess I can be dramatic too. Nevertheless is goodbye Seoul, Hello University of Central Busan.

Holy Crap!
I pulled up to the front of the school and holy crap! It's ginormous. No wonder why it was this hard to get into. Damn it! I feel so underdressed. I rolled down my window to see beautiful Korean women with school books and tattoos strolling with their friends and boba as they circle the campus entrance. And I'm sitting in my car with an oversized hoodie jeans I got on sale and a definitely out of season pear of ballet flats. Did I mention my hair was a frizzy from the humidity in my broken down car that I got from my uncle for my 16th birthday. Let's say I looked like I belonged to the clean up crew here.

I parked in the only spot left in the parking lot that was closest to my dorm building. The parking lot had a strong smell of cigarettes mixed with Victoria secrets newest perfume, looks like I found out where those girls hang out during non school hours, unless they skip school, urgh it's really none of my business just the fact that now everything I own now smells like a 21 year year old girl. I held my breath hoping not to fully inhale the unpleasant smell as I run to catch the glass elevator.
Inside there's a girl, she looks like a freshman, maybe she's in the same dorm room as me?
She has pasty white skin and has short black-brown hair with wispy bangs just above her deep brown eyes. Her outfit was well put together, black leggings, a white blouse going all the way up to her neck, which has a necklace spelling the words, serendipity, and a tan coat to finish it off. She looked through the glass and sees my panting ass running for my life to get inside this elevator. She gracefully lifts up her leg and stops the door from shutting. I nod my head in appreciation and stand beside her.
I introduce myself with a simple "Hi,"
"Hey there!" Wow I'm surprised she didn't just smile and murmur something.
She continues "I'm Yuna, Nam Yuna,"
"Y/N...Kim Y/N,"
"So are you a freshman?"
"Uhm, yes I am, I'm just trying to get all my things to the third floor before I check the best routes to get to my classes," I nervously say, taking many inhales as I speak. "No way me too! What room are you in"
Wow she is bubbly

"I'm in dorm A69 with Shin Chaeyeong and...ah Nam Yuna." I giggle to myself as she smiles at me with relief.
"That's a relief, I really wasn't intending to spend my freshman year with some psycho." We giggle to each other which was soon cut off by the door opening to level 4. We chatted all the way from the small foyer to the door to our room. Yuna kindly opens to door as I am struggling to hold the bags and bags that I have carried and a piece of paper containing my roommates and what room I'm in. Again, I nod in a appreciation and carefully step inside the narrow doorway hoping I don't drop anything.

It's huge and so open, beautiful even. I can see that either Chaeyeong or Yuna have already added a white dining table with a clear cylinder vase filled with fresh babies breaths. Over to the left sits a small birch wooden kitchen with a miniature vase holding a single yellow rose that bursts out fragrance. Pillars separate the kitchen from the living space which hasn't yet been furnished.
"Hi," A bold voice calls out from one of the rooms on the right.
"I'm Shin Chaeyeong, but you can call me Chae," She seems rather confident and well put together like Yuna, but more mature and idol-like.
Yuna replies for the both of us and introduces me. "Hey, I'm Yuna and this is Y/N, nice to meet you,"

Even with my roommates I feel so out of place. Chaeyeong has mid length bleach blond hair but it's somewhat natural , I can tell it's bleached because her roots are darker than the rest of her hair. She channels a black ruffled tube top with a mud red blazer on top, and white sweat pants to complement the formality of the blazer. Yuna and Chaeyeong continue a conversation about some campus parties and the bangtan boys. Am I supposed to know what that means, no, but if it's something that's going to get me into trouble and get expelled I am out. I can barely pay my rent, with that being said I drop my bags into the empty room to my right and swing my body out the door and politely ask if there are any jobs near campus.
"Yeah, I'm pretty sure there are lots of local convince stores looking for hire?" Chae replies
"Hmmm, I don't think working at a convince store will make me enough money to last one semester..."
"Well you could always ask Kim Seokjin,"
"Kim Seok what?"
"Kim Seokjin, he knows all the best places to get a job, he's a bangtan boy. I know where he lives I can write you his dorm number?"
"A bangtan boy?" I know I'm trying to stay out of trouble, but who knows maybe the bangtan boys are some sort of book club or an uprising kpop group?
I continue "Hmmm, Yeah Yeah that would be nice, thanks," Chaeyeong ruffly writes the letters B56 on a sticky note next to the vase of babies breaths.
I slip the note into my pocket and put a reminder on my phone to find a job tomorrow.

Let's see what's all the chatter about the bangtan boys is about.
