many more will learn to fly." - Tony Meloto.

"Can we hear it again, Dad?" Terry asked as his sapphire blue eyes filled with wonder. The boy's jet-black hair was still wet from the bubble bath he took earlier, and sister Lucy sat in the crook of his arm, already half asleep. Also, her hair is tied up in pigtails and she's holding onto her teddy bear.

"More! Tell us more!" Aaliyah yelled out, causing the older man to laugh.

"Okay, one more time, and then it's off to bed," Bruce said and shifts his hold on Jonathan who was sitting on his lap and drinking apple juice.

"And there came a day unlike any other when earth's champions were united against a common threat. The Man of Steel, The Princess of Themyscira, The Dark Knight, The Scarlet Speedster, The King of Atlantis, The Emerald Archer and his Pretty Bird, The Hero from Mars, The Emerald Knight, and The King and Queen of Thanagar. On that day, the Justice League was born to fight, the foes that no single hero could withstand. Time-traveling conquerors, Crazed Clowns, and Legions of Doom. The Justice League vanquished them all. The world was finally at peace, so the heroes built lives of their own. The Man of Steel and The Princess of Themyscira fell in love as did The Hero from Mars and The Amazing Amazon. The Scarlet Speedster fell in love with The Goddess of Snow, The Emerald Knight fell in love with The Girl of Steel, and The Dark Knight rescued and fell in love with The Clown Princess of Crime. One by one the children were born."

"Us?" asked another girl. She had blue eyes just like her father.

      "Yes, Natalie." Bruce smiled.

"Continue please," Henry said as he sits next to Arthur.

"But in time, evil returned an evil called Brainiac. Brainiac wanted nothing less than domination, over the world, but the Justice League stood in its way. Sadly, their defeat was inevitable. But before they fell the Justice League, hid their children in a place far away a place where they could grow up safe from Brainiac's grasp. Because the Justice League knew that as long as the children were alive, there was still hope."

After finishing the story, he put Jonathan to a bed who was now asleep, as well as the rest of the children. He placed blankets over the children to keep them warm and kisses them on the forehead goodnight. Taking one last look at the children he smiled whispering. "Yes, still hope." Before turning off the lights and closing the door.
