Exploring The Underwater World

Katsumi slowly swam up to the surface and tried swimming around with her tail. It was still a struggle for her, but she didn't mind, she was willing to wait and learn to swim with her tail. "What a totally cool feeling!" As she swam backwards she hit the back of a mama seal, who had two pups. They had climbed up on theirs mom back and looked at the girl, watching her curiously.

"Oh,excuse me. I'm so sorry,ma'am." Katsumi sighs as she starts to sing, Okay, get a grip. Get the hang of this flipper. It's like slipping two feet into one big, huge slipper." She moves her tail around, looking at it with fascination.

"This way is left. Which way is right. Oh, now I'll be circling in circles all night." The two seal pups had climbed on a piece of ice and Katsumi swam around it. Oh, so this is forward. No problem. I can't believe. I can do this and more." She then swims under the water, looking at the underwater world which she never really got to look at long, because she had breathe air, but not now.

"To swim in the sea like I walk on the shore. Out of my shell. Not closed up like a clam. Look out, sea. This is me. Here I am. For a moment all of me is alive and at home in the sea I'm swirling and twirling so graceful and grand. Not stubbing my toes." She soon swam upwards and jumped out of the water and dived back in. "Getting stuck in the sand. For a moment life is cool. I'm a splash in the world's biggest pool. This is more than my thoughts ever thought it could be. For a moment. Just a moment. Lucky me!" She had swam around, looking at much of the under sea world that she could.

Now in the abandoned cavern that once was used by Katsuki a lot when he was young, he looked around before picking up a cup. So memories in here, all causing him to sing himself, "If only for one moment I had shared with you all I know. The sea wouldn't be a mystery. Oh, why did you have to go?" Katsuki set down the cup and swam out of the cavern.

Now with Katsumi she was still swimming around, "Everything's newerand brighter and bluer. And truer to life than before Watch me soar!" She swam under a whale, before swimming beside the whale, "For a moment I can shin. Got a grin and a fin that works fine. My fingers are wrinkly and I really don't care If all of my curls have curled out of my hair. For a moment I can feel." Katsumi swam above the whale has it let her on its back. It slowly swam up to the surface letting Katsumi be above the water as it swam,

"All the dreams I've been dreaming are real. Wish my father could hear it. The sea is my song. For a moment. Just a moment I belong!" Katsumi grabbed the locket holding it tightly as she rode the whale.

Katsuki was swimming around his old underwater home. Looking at caves, the old sunken ship, and even the place Aizawa sang to him to try to get him to stay under the sea. "I will find you, my darling. And the moment that I do I'll hold you close, my Katsumi, my melody. And sing the song of the sea with you. Sing the song of the sea." He looked up at the water above, before he started to make his way to the under water castle.

With Katsumi she had dived off the whale and made her way back to overhaul home. "For a moment, just a moment I belong." She lastly sings, before swimming into the under water cave, "Oh, thank you! Thank you so much!" Katsumi says, smiling has overhaul faked a sad look, "What's the matter?"

"Oh, I knew this would happen. One taste, and you're hooked. Oh, Chronostasis, I'm such a failure, such a...Oh, my princess...there wasn't enough potion for this to be a forever spell." Overhaul picked up the bottle to show her it was empty. "Please. I-I don't want to go back to being an ordinary girl. Isn't there some way I can stay a mermaid?"

"Oh,I'm afraid there's absolutely no possible way. Well, there is one way. No. What am I thinking? It's far too dangerous.

"What? Wh...What's too dangerous?"

"Well, Icould make the spell last longer...if I had my magic trident. Oh,but it was stolen years ago...by a deranged kleptomaniac...and there's no one to get it back for me." Overhaul set the bottom down and sat down on he ice couch, Katsumi swam over in front of overhaul, "Maybe I could get it back for you."

"You would do that for me?"

"If I did,would you make me a mermaid forever?"

"Even longer, if you like. Now, here is where the scoundrel lives." Overhaul had reached and grabbed the locket, opening it, the projection showing other mermaid and Atlantica.

"Atlantica? You mean it's not just an old fish tale? It really exists?"

"Of course it exists, dear. Whoever told you otherwise?"

"My father. He even got mad when I found the locket. I know he is hiding something from me. Maybe if I stayed I would have found out, but probably not has knowing him he likes keeping his secrets and doesn't tell me anything."

Overhaul nodded, closing the locket and pulls his hand away. "Well, I'm sure he didn't mean to be cruel and deceitful. Maybe he was trying to protect you from something." Chronostasis chuckled and mumbled, "Or someone."

"Okay, I'll bring back your trident. You can count on me!" Katsumi quickly swims to the exit.

"Be careful, dear. Enjoy those fins! While you can." Katsumi gave a wave bye and swam out of the cave. Overhaul smirks evilly, "If only she really knew I would never actually turn her into a mermaid, but instead.." He stopped talking and shook his head, "Let's not get cocky. That could be my undoing." Overhaul swam up and started to plan what he would do once he got the trident.

A sigh escaped the sea kings lips, he didn't understand why overhaul would cause him to lose his granddaughter and son. He hadn't seen them in years and when he does it's because his precious granddaughter is missing. He didn't know what to, but he knew he would find Katsumi and capture overhaul, making him pay for making him lose his family.
