Getting Trapped

Kirishima was about to rush in, ready to take on overhaul, but Katsuki stopped him. The fish looked at him confused, he didn't understand why he was stopping him. "So here is he plan, swim back as fast as you can and tell my old man. I'll try to find Katsumi."

"Oh, but if that old sea wizard is in there, and then there's that mean little shark...and then those manta rays come, and then he takes uses creepy spells to wrap you up and stuff. Uh. Uh-uh. No way you're goin' in there alone."

"But, Shitty fins, if we both go... who's going to tell the old man where Overhaul's lair is?" Katsuki suddenly had a idea and swam up to the surface, Kirishima follows him. Katsuki looks around and sees Denki. "HEY STUPID BIRD GET YOUR ASS DOWN HERE!" He yells, immediately getting Denkis attention.

"Say, what's all the yellin' about? Is Katsumi around here? Did you find her yet? If she's..."

"Dunce face! Get down and listen. I need you to pay very close attention." The bird nods and land on a rock that Katsuki swims to so they can speak to one another.

"We're doomed." Kirishima says, diving under the water as Katsuki rolls his eyes and explains to the bird that he needs him to tell his father where Overhauls base. Katsuki may not have the best faith in this bird, but he knew Denki always came through when he needed him. Once they finished talking Denki flew away and Katsuki headed under the water to go to the cave and find his daughter with Kirishma.

Now back under the water with Katsumi and Chronostasis they have entered the cave, causing a evil smile to form on Overhauls face, "Oh,there you are, darling! Oh, I was so worried about you. And look! You've brought back my trident. Clever girl."

"Give it to her! Give it to her! Give it to her! Hey!" Chronostasis says as he was suddenly pushed away.

"Forgive him, dear. He's got a little size issue. Now, if you'll just hand over the..." Overhaul reached for the trident and Katsumi was about to give it to her till Katsuki swam in, Kirishima not far behind him.

"Katsumi, don't!"

"Dad?!"

"Don't listen to him!"

It wasn't till they truly looked at each is the theirs eyes widen, "You're a mermaid/merman?" They ask at the same time.

"Katsuki, how nice of you to come. And you brought Flopper with you.

"The name's Kirishima."

"Grr." Chronostasis growls as he swims to Kirishima.

"Grr" yourself, pipsqueak."

"Get that thing and hit me! One bite, and he's shrimp toast!" Chronostasis yells, while glaring at Kirishima.

"Sweetheart, hand me my trident now." Overhaul says, knowing he just can't take it from the girl.

"All this time,and you never told me?" Katsumi asks, squeezing the trident, feeling like her father had betrayed her.

"You kept the most important secret in your whole life from her own daughter. How cruel do you have to be?" Overhaul asks, wanting to piss Katsuki off.

"Please, give it to me, Katsumi." Katsuki says, ignoring his daughter and Overhaul question, his main concern was getting the trident back,

"No. Hand it to me. It's for your own good."

"He's fucking lying!"

"I've given you what you've always wanted. He's the one who lied to you all these years." Overhaul places his hands on the girls shoulders.

"I was trying to protect you. Please just listen to me for a minute."

"By fencing me in? You knew how much I loved the sea. Why did you keep the truth from me?"

"Katsumi, fucking listen to me. If there was one thing in my life that I could do over, l..."

"Too late, dad."

"Katsumi, no!" He yells, watching his daughter hand hand over the trident to Overhaul.

"All the power of the seven seas at my command!"

"Hello! Can we get with the programme? It's still a small world down here!" Overhaul rolls his eyes and points it as Chronostasis, he suddenly became a big shark again which caused him to smirk. Suddenly the sea wizard pointed it as Katsuki, it glowed and a yellow rope wrapped around him

"Daddy!" She yells, watching Overhaul tie up her father.

"Your daddy was only trying to protect you from moi! What he did, he did out of...love. Little Katsumi has been a very naughty girl...stealing from her own grandfather."

"My... My grandfather?" She repeats, not believing what she was hearing.

"King Masaru, ruler of Atlantica...commander in chief of all of the oceans! Or at least he was, until a certain little thief came along." Overhaul smirks as she watched the girl glare at him.

"You tricked me!"

"You've got no one to blame but yourself. Tell me, Katsumi. Is being a mermaid everything you dreamed? Was it worth it?" He asked before suddenly shoving her into a cave and started to close it up.

"Katsumi!" Kirishima yelled before swimming inside as Overhaul left a small hole where neither of them could get in or out, but just enough to see.

"Oh, and by the way...your time as a mermaid has just about expired. Catch you later. I've got bigger fish to fry!" He was about to swim out before getting a idea. He suddenly used the trident to throw Katsuki against a sea wall. He groaned in pain and looked at the sea wizard.

Katsumi watched, worried for her father, feeling guilt just way at her as she couldn't do anything other than watch. Overhaul then used the magic of the trident to put Katsuki in a cage, "There! Now you two can do all the catching up. Now this time, I will be taking my leave." Overhaul and a Chronostasis leave.

Katsumi and Kirishima pounded on the ice. The girl then let herself sink to the ocean floor.

"Don't give up." Kirishima says, swimming to the girl as Katsuki looked at the wall, where his daughter and friend are behind.

"Yeah! You are a mother fucking Bakugou! You don't give up!"

"It's no use. It's too thick. Oh, dad...Kirishima. I've ruined everything."

"No you haven't you brat. It's my fault. I should have told you the truth, but I didn't like a fucking idiot. I didn't expect to be stupid like Denki."

"Denki..?" That caught Katsumi attention, her father knew the dumb bird? Well now she had a reason to swim up to the hole that Overhaul left, so she could see her father, "You know Denki?"

"Of course I do! Why do you think he stayed around the castle? Why do you think I protected Aizawa? Because he was my friend...my teacher who I should have listened to." The king sighed, "Would like to hear the story how I got to be human?" He asks, which Katsumi immediately nodded to answer his question. Katsuki smiled, this might not be the best time, but you know...if something bad does happen at least she knows this story.
