Time. Time has always been my problem. Never having enough time to write my essay due the next day. Never having enough time to pick out the perfect outfit. Never having enough time to get from class to class. I guess you can say that time hates me. Oh well, I hate it too.
But never did I think time would be this horrible to me, I don't think anyone could. But it happened, to us. So now we have to deal with it for every second in this hell hole....... No...No we're not. If there's one thing that I know it's that we can make it through anything. And we will.... I'm sure of it.

Coldness escapes from my presence as I feel my body starting to warm up. Confused and scared from the sudden temperature change, I attempt to open my eyes. It was a little difficult at first, but after about a minute my eyes were open. A dirty white ceiling was visible above me. It took probably another 15 minutes for me to feel my legs and arms. My upper body went first. Because of this I was able to sit up and see what was holding me down. Around my legs was what seemed to be frozen cocoon. I would have been more freaked out if it wasn't already melting. As soon as it did I started to try getting up from what seemed like a glass container.... almost what seemed like a bed. After a few failures I successfully pulled my legs from the still defrosting bed. I took a deep breath before setting my feet down on the floor.
Annoyingly I tripped over my other leg and fell flat on the ground below me. Grunting I push myself back up. It kept happening until I reached a chair. I weakly sit down while I bring my legs towards me and out in front of me, I did the same with my arms. I continued to do this for awhile, as I gather up my thoughts. Where am I? Where is my family? How long had I'd been in that bed of ice? Sadly I couldn't think of any answers for any of these questions.
Let's just say I was in a pool of water after I was done extending my arms and legs. I guess it melted from my hair. I lifted a lock of it between my fingers, I almost forgot what it looked like. It was long and a shiny dark shade of brown. I then take a second to look down at my hands, I was always told that I had delicate looking hands. Piano hands my Mom would say. Which was why her and Dad put me in piano lessons and soon after that violin. Even though I was forced, I grew to like it. Just like I how grew to like my parents. I know that sounds bad the whole "I grew to like" part, but it's in some ways true. They were always very secretive about their work, not to mention very busy with it. But after time I'd learn how to not be bothered by it. If I had to pick a favorite family member it would definitely have to be my younger sister Terra. I say younger but I'm only 2 years older than her. I'm 17 I think... no, I'm 18 for sure. I remember that I had just turned 18 before everything became black and fuzzy.
All of a sudden I hear a loud BANG come from what seemed like the other room. I quickly swing my head to the closed door. Don't do it  Serena, you don't know who it is or... what it is. Regardless I quietly and to my avail made it to the door without falling or even tripping. Guess my time in that chair really payed off. There was some sort of scratching coming from the other side. With a slight push I opened the door. I screamed when I saw what it was.
It was what seemed to be a bunny and a lizard, but combined into one. When it looked up at me it revealed a long, wide set of sharp teeth. What the hell was going on? Was I imagining this? Nevertheless I wasn't taking my chances. I quickly bolted past the "bunny" down the hall. I look behind to see the "bunny"  leaping fast after me. I turn my head back around to see a storage closet. Without hesitation I yank the handle and slam the door behind me. The scratching from the other door continued on this door, but this time more violent. What just happened? Last time I checked bunnies were suppose to be fluffy and cute. "What is happening?" I say to myself as I slowly sink down to the cold ground in the dark room that is the storage closet.

After about what seemed like hours, the scratching stopped. Dazed and Scared I sat up and waited a couple minutes before slowly opening the closets door. I looked at the ground, left to right. No demonic bunny. Relived I look behind me to see something dangling from the ceiling. I pulled it, A bright light then illuminated the room. My eyes scanned the room to see selves with scrubs littered all over them, and the floor I look in front of me to see a mirror. I look back at a girl with wavy dark brown hair , amber eyes, olive skin, and a skinny yet somewhat curvy body barely visible beneath the long white dress gown that seemed to be wearing. The only thing different about me was my confused face, slightly tangly hair and my pale colorless lips. I turn away not wanting to see anymore. I look back up to the scrubs and grab a pair.
I change into the light mint scrubs and check outside before I leave the closet. I walk curiously to my left to see what looked to be a large office area. I cautiously checked every bin before coming upon what looked like a women's office. Around the desk was papers, pens and a couple of hair ties. I pick up one of the hair ties and brush my hair with my fingers before pulling my hair back with the tie. I open a couple of drawers to find a plastic poncho, half crushed box of protein bars and two bottles of water. This will have to do for now.
I explore the rest of the hallways to see the black and grey ash surrounded on the floor along with doors with their bolts hanging from a thread, to others being completely blow off. What seemed to be animal waste littered the floor along with discarded trash. This is horrible, what happened? Is it like this everywhere? dark thoughts flew my mind before I snapped myself out of it. No Serena that can't be. I don't know what that whole frozen bed thing was about, or that terrible "bunny" but I'm sure that everything is fine and that somebody will find you soon. Soon you will see your parents. Soon you will see Terra. Soon y-
I stop dead in my tracks to find myself looking out a window at a horrific sight. I saw my country I had moved to, London, completely and utterly destroyed and tainted in every which way. Litter and dark green and black substances covered the once beautiful buildings and sidewalks. All the building were crumbled into pieces and were really nothing more then a pile of rocks. Metal was scattered from smashed cars and streetlights, and buses. Black ash flew around the the place giving the scene a more unsettling feeling if that was even possible. Lastly the famous London clock, Big Ben had slashes all over it's large scape and its once breathtaking clock smashed in causing it to be only half a clock.
I bit down hard on my lip as I felt warm droplets fall down both of my cheeks. I wipe them away and back away from the window. Your wrong Serena, No one is coming, No one.

After I regained my strength from seeing that nightmare, I unsurely head back to the first room I was in. On my way there I see a big  heavy gray rock, just in cause the bunny has any "friends". I check the room to make sure the no threat had entered while I was gone. As soon I was positive I was safe I closed the door and placed the chair under the handle to make sure it was nice and secure. I then turn back around to the room with the mysterious beds. I never took notice that there was more than just one bed. I walk over to the ones scattered around the room. some of them were already open. But I don't really want to  risk my life just to see if there are other people around here. A lot of them where closed and a icy blue tint to them. I looked inside most of them to see what I expected, people. Men, women, black, white, curly hair, straight hair. They were all different but all seemed to be above the age of 13. I felt sadness and sorrow for each one I saw. But none of them compares to the one that was next to my bed.
As I got closer and closer to the one I was in I felt weird and anxious as if something bad waiting for me when I got there. I laughed a little. Bad? Theres no way it can get any worse. I was wrong. As I stopped in front of the bed besides mine, my heart quickly sank. I front of me lay a girl with medium black pretty curled hair, freckles along her cheeks and the base of her nose, above slightly tan skin. Although her eyes were closed  I didn't have to see them to know it was my sister Terra.
Without a second to think I start banging on the glass. "No! no! no! no! NO!" I screamed as I attempt my hardness to break the glass I pick up the the rock, a paperweight, even another chair, anything to open that case. But nothing worked. I keep slamming my fists to glass but with no process expect for the bruises covering my hands afterwards. Delicate hands huh? "TERRA" I screamed trying to wake her, even though I knew it was no use. "TERRA!" I felt tears rising again. There was then a bunch a scratching and pounding on the door stronger then ever. Thanks to my chair and chain holding the door in tack, none was going to get in. That fact didn't make me feel any better in this situation. I place my hand upon the glass trying one more time "Terra please... don't leave me here by myself" Drops of liquid fell upon the frozen ice bed. I was right, I was going to see Terra again but definitely not the way I wanted to.

Days seemed liked years as I stayed locked up in that room for what seemed like forever. Eating and Drinking very little, Still trying to wake Terra, The scratching starting to become a normal thing. In fact one snake/grasshopper somehow got in without me noticing, and almost spit on me this kind of...acid. But with the rock I was able to smash it down while I used the paperweight to finish it off. I had to settle for that horrible ice bed that I called a jail cell, to sleep in. It was safe just in case another animal came in. I soon discovered to my advantage that the bed not only got cold but got warm. But with all of these treasures I felt as if I was wasting away in this room. Barely alive, non-existint. Nothing. It been 3DAYS, your sister is going to wake up. Who knows how long it took for you to wake up. It could be weeks, YEARS before she wakes up. I need to go and get more supplies, and there is to much danger here to stay by myself. I could meet other people and have a better chance of surviving. I let out a deep sigh and took one last glance at Terra before picking up a random piece of paper and a pen. I'll write her a letter about what I think has happened, and I'll tell her that I'll visit her every 4 days to see if she's there. I hope she will understand.
I barely got a single sentence written down before I heard a female cough descend from behind me, and I sudden gust of cold wind.
