Devastation doesn't even begin to describe what our world has gone to.Death.Fear.Destruction.Those are good words.Still too understating,though.While I find the right words,let me describe the once great country that you used to know:
Once beautiful.Once great.America,the land of hope,jobs,and freedom.Now,corrupt,horrifying,and ugly.
It happened the 2040 election (I was 8).Everyone was pumped and excited,glad to be rid of the idiot that was in office.For he had ruined america greatly.America already knew who was gonna win.Richard Logan Dietrich (his last name means ruler.Ironic right?),american hero!(or so we thought...).
The day of inauguration (surprise,surprise...he won!)was supposed to be the day America would be turned around.Little did we know,the first day of Dietrich's presidency was the day America turned further in the other direction.Out of nowhere,we were being bombed,invaded,and killed for no absolute reason!Every soul that lived in my city (once great small town of NY)gathered in the sqare,the center of the town.Destruction was everywhere.You could see it in all the buildings.
The big screen ,on top of a skyscraper that overshadowed the square,burst with life as a video made of Dietrich told us we were being ruled.Forever.'Till his dying day.And that all who oppose him will be ripped from their family,and killed.That any suspicious activity will cause raids,and more bombing.America was lost with no hope of being found.
That day,reader,was the day I new my purpose in life.To help the rebuilding of America.That day,was the day my story started.
