He smiles at me as we walk. Lester Remington called me to come by, he said he needed my particular set of skills,he says humorously. i turn to look at him as we walk into the elevator. Josh your a spelunker what could he possibly do with someone who explores caves? he smiles sarcastically.you'll find out soon enough. he says.and we walk down a hallway turning right and opening a door, where there were a few faces i recognized sitting at a table.
I sit down next to the last person i expected to be there. "Trace?""what are YOU doing here?"Jamie i need her for tech support, you did say that she works as electronics repair for NASA correct?" Lester says standing and raising an inquisitive eyebrow. i realize he's a man around five four in height with a small buildand a touch of grey hair and a small amount of stubble on a face with sharp stern features.
"Yes...Yes i did."" Mr. remington, exactly what are we doing here?" Josh asks , looking over at me and tracy and shooting us a wink." I was getting to that Mr. Wenthrow." he says, and begins pacing back and forth. "As you may already know, "I am the world's leader in exploration and the discovery of new science, therefore it is my job to ensure that nowhere is left unfound or unexplored."" As such I have recently found out that there is a cave in the remote area of Foula, in Shetland Island Scotland."
"There, we believe, could be many resources of currency as well as plants and animals that we have not yet discovered." He continues." Unfortunately our government as well as Britain will not fund us because of some of the native people who presume this cave to be dangerous." "That being said I will say... that this is dangerous as well as highly illegal."" Which is the reason I have brought you all here today."" I cannot afford to use my normal exploration team because it IS illegal and dangerous and could be traced back to me and my works."
"I have come to YOU because you are all the best of your individual crafts and I want to change the world."" I will say this... now that you are here you will not be given another choice you were told in each email or phone call that u have a choice and you chose to be here so therefore you could have stayed home." "I need your help to change the world.... help me do so." He finished, finally looking up at our gaping mouths.
"I will give you each food clothes a private jet and equipment you leave tomorrow at dawn." "With that he turned and walked out of the room leaving us with more questions than answers.
