When we stepped out of the plain it really hit me that we were in another country. The terrain was like ours but it was almost MORE beautiful. The meadow that we had apparently landed in was a small but big one surrounded by endless forest gorgeous and green. It took my breath away. What with the wind blowing, the almost giant trees swaying I never wanted to leave.

I walk over to the side of the plane where the pilot was waiting with our bags. Here ya go. he says and smiles tipping his hat. good luck. Thank you. I reply and walk over to where a man was waiting not far from the plane, with josh and tracy not far behind. I greet him with a handshake. hello, what's your name? I ask.he was a tall-ish man with no hair on top and a thick beard full red, although there were some grey spots. he wore something that i thought might have been a little strange if not for the fact that we were in Scotland. I would say it was a tunic.  Alexander ma'am and yu re missus constance righ? he says ,voice thick with a scottish accent. I was under the impression we were doing this alone. I say. yeah we thought were going to have to find our own way. Tracy chimes in.

No ma'am. That'd be a right pain in the backside! he laughs and holds his belly at our shocked faces and says. Right then we should be gaun now. he says smiling and pats josh on the back , who weirdly had said virtually nothing throughout the encounter. We follow our strange guide through the thickening and wondrous forest. Besides, alexander begins, yu wod never find thu cave anyhow, he laughs, tis cursed. Josh perked up at that. As did Trace.  exactly what do you mean cursed? Josh asks. Well this cave be forbidden. In our legends they speak of  will-o'-the-wisps which would mislead travelers  appearing as a light to lead the way to the goals they seek only to in turn lead them to their untimely demise. his voice was riddled with a strong scottish accent but I managed to make out the words fair enough.

Josh actually looked worried and Tracey looked just....well tired. all of us, a little frightened by the words he spoke, jumped at the sound of his voice. Right then! We be here but this is as far as I go. Where is the cave? Josh asks and he points through some bushes. That way. he says. good luck. he's about to leave when i stop him. you don't really believe what you said before do you? I ask him. I do ma'am. He replies gravely. With every bone in me body. and with that he left us ...alone...in the woods...scared. With our spirits down and our wits still about us we head in the direction of the cave of doom.....
