Before Sana was able to cry, she heard a cup put on the table, and the smell of cocoa lingered on her nose.
It was Joohee,
Minutes earlier just as Joohee was going to open their bedroom door he just stopped all of a sudden realizing, 'Isn't this the distance I respected back then that made me lose her?' he looked down, 'Am I doing it again unconsciously?'
He contemplated even further and when he came to a conclusion he sighed, 'I'm quite tired but...' he looked over the kitchen and saw packets of Swiss Miss by the counter,
"Maybe, I should stay," Joohee said. Sana, who thought he went inside, got flustered. "You might try something else," Joohee continued and looked over the balcony.
He didn't come back empty-handed, he brought two mugs of hot chocolate.
He knew it was cold outside and since Sana didn't seem like she'll sleep any time soon, so he brought something to alleviate the cold beside the heat packets.
"That might be a good idea," Sana told him, and he looked at her blankly
'Is she serious?' Joohee was set aback
"I'm joking. Haha," she once again stared at the stars. Sana decided to sit down for a bit and sat on the chair where the hot chocolate was.
"Is the night sky that beautiful for you?" Joohee asked 'She kept looking at it, even last night' he thought and sipped from his cup,
"Yes. It's very soothing. Just staring at the sky makes me think of how small we are and how vast the world is along with its possibilities," Sana said, then sipped from her mug.
"I was told there's a planetarium in this town. It would be nice to visit it when I have the time," Sana continues.
"I can ask Elkie where it is and take you there if you want," Joohee offered.
"That would be great..." she paused for a bit. "Wait..." Sana squinted her eyes, "Are you going with me so that you can get a free ticket or something??" Sana asked,
"You caught up pretty fast. Sure I'd take that as your treat for keeping two of your secrets,"Joohee replied.
"Wow. I don't know if you are really being nice or just taking advantage of me at moments like this," Sana commented, then Joohee just smiles.
