Chapter 4: Tricking Nathan and Finding Saige

Saige's Point of View

I woke up a few hours ago when Nathan was still here. He had beaten me up for some reason, and I'm unsure why he did that. I sat on the mattress that was on the floor waiting for him to come back, but after two hours of waiting he never came back.

I got up and grabbed my crutches that was laying on the dirt floor and went to the door. I tried to open it, but I found out that it was locked from the outside. I sighed then looked around the room, and found a window near the mattress. I went over to the window and broke it with one of my crutches. After breaking it enough, I threw the crutches through it then climbed through myself. When I landed on the ground, I was in a little pain from my bad foot.

I looked around and saw that I was at a small cabin in the woods. I didn't know exactly how far into the woods I was, but that didn't matter at the moment. I had to get away from here before Nathan got back. I got up and grabbed my crutches and started going into the woods.

It sucked moving into the woods with a tux on and using crutches. I thought about ditching the crutches a few times within an hour of not knowing where I was headed in the woods.

After one of my crutches got stuck between a couple of tree roots, I just left it there. I was exhausted and in a lot of pain now from my leg, and it was dark out and hard to see but I kept going.

Myka's Point of View

I watched the interrogation from the window. As soon as Alek walked in, Nathan looked instantly pissed off seeing Alek dressed as Saige.

"There's no way in Hell you found Saige" Nathan said upset.

"I'm standing right here" Alek said upset. "You think they wouldn't have found me?"

"There's no way they found the cabin in the woods behind the school" Nathan said looking down at the table.

Alek leaned forward smirking, "thanks for telling us where Saige is."

Nathan looked up at Alek shocked, "Alek?"

"Seems like you forgot Saige and I are identical twins" Alek said smirking then sat across from him. "So why Saige?"

Nathan looked away from Alek and said nothing.

"Answer the damn question Nathan!" Alek yelled angrily.

Nathan just shrugged, "he was the only one that didn't take any interest in me. It just made me take an interest in him."

"So you hurt him and Chancey?" Alek asked concerned.

"That was honestly an accident" Nathan said looking at Alek. "I didn't want to hurt anyone. When I called the police to confess, it was like no one believed me. I called and said it was an accident. I even told Chancey I accidentally cut his brakes when I was fixing his car. I told him not to drive his car until I got him new brake lines."

Nathan buried his head in his hands.

"Wait, you did actually did tell Chancey that you accidentally cut the brakes?" my father asked shocked.

Nathan looked at him, "yes I told him that but he seemed to brush it to the side as he said it would be alright and to take my time."

"When were you going to replace the brake lines?" my father asked.

"The day of the accident" Nathan said seriously. "I went to the auto parts store and bought the new lines. When I got back, Chancey's car was gone. I tried to call him but he wouldn't answer the phone. The next day I heard his car was involved in an accident and that him and Saige got hurt."
