Another much over due oneshot. I've actually wanted to write this one for awhile but I never really had inspration for it until now. But now >:3... Anyway,your quirk in this is 'Phoniex',you basically have wings made of fire. (b/n) means brother's name btw. Enjoy!
This was it! The time had come,you were finally a pro hero and this was your first co-op mission. To make things even better,it was with Hawks aka the number 2 hero! This was something you had only dreamed of,especially this early in your career. This was a golden opotunity to get noticed,maybe even famous in the hero comunity. But,all that depended on this mission going well. You flapped your wings in nervousness.
You flapped to the top of your room and sat midair,thinking hard. A million thoughts were going through your head that you completely ignored the fact that your brother,(b/n),walked in.
"Yo (y/n)? You good?"he asked. His voice startled you so much that you ended up falling to your bed.
"Oh uh yeah,I'm fine! Just thinking,is all,"you scratched the back of your neck.
"Ooooh,your nervous about the mission,right?"he asked as he sat next to you on your bed. You nodded. He put his hand on your shoulder.
"You've got this,you're a great hero! You can ace this mission,I know it!"he encouraged.
"Yeah,your right! Thanks bro,"you smiled.He smiled,gave you a few more words of encouragement,and walked out. Yep,I've totally got this,you thought to yourself.
The days passed like lightning until the day of your mission finally arived. You got changed into your hero suit and flew to Hawks' agency. You stopped at the door and inhaled. This was it,the day of your mission. Surprisingly,Hawks himself came out first. He was a lot more handsome than Tv made him look. Stop thinking about those stupid things,you scolded yourself.
"Soo,you must be Phoniex,right?"he asked. You nodded. "Well I'm Hawks! Nice to meet you!"he held out his hand and you shook it. He then turned your hand and planted a kiss on it.
You turn red. He just smirks.
"What? A pretty thing like you isn't used to a gentleman kissing her hand like this?"he asked teasingly. You look away and use your other hand to hide your blush.
"C'mon Hawks,get professional,"you hear a female voice sigh. You look over to see Miriko walking down the street. She shakes her head. Hawks lets go of your hand. He walks over to her and has a small conversation with her. You heard none of it of course,they were speaking quietly. Hawks gave you the occasional glance and his attention went straight back to Miriko.
After awhile,he came back to you.
"Let's go,shall we?"he asked. You nodded and thought one thing for a split second. Damn,he's kind of hot.
The two of you flew thorugh the air at fast speeds,though,you had no trouble keeping up. He might be fast but,you weren't slow as most would think.
"Hey,your pretty fast for a rookie hero,"you heard him say from beside you.
"Yeah,I get that a lot,"you say playfully. He smirks.
"You think you can beat me?"he teases.
"I don't think I can,I know I can,"you challenge.
"Oooh,tough talk for a rookie~"he says playfully. You speed ahead with him close behind. He flys above you,barrel rolling over you,getting ahead of you somehow. You flapped your wings harder and flew a little bit infront of him. You got to the location faster than planned and hovered above it for a bit.
"You know,you are pretty fast. You almost beat me,too. Heh,"he said,panting a bit. Your wings flared from how much they were strained.
"You ok?" he asked. You nodded and explained that was what happened when you used your quirk too much at one time. He nodded and the two of you talked for a bit.
"Hey before we get this mission thing started,you maybe wanna be my flying partner? You're the only person I've met who can really match my speed,"he said. You were surprised at the offer.
"I would love to!"you said replied greatfully. he grabbed your hand.
"Well,c'mon! Let's get this mission done so we can fly together a little! I would like to get to know you better,"he said winking. You blushed and,the two of you flew into what would be your first,and certainly not last,mission with the wing hero.
