Back outside 35 Portland Row, the 3 of us drag our bags through the front door.  Holly decided to go straight to her apartment. The train ride home was pretty uneventful, besides that I fell asleep with my head on Lockwood's lap. As I climb up the stairs to my attic room, I think I will miss sleeping with Lockwood and his giraffe PJs. On the way home, we dropped the re-wrapped source off at the furnaces to be burned, so I don't have to worry about that again. I hear George calling up from downstairs. "Tea in the living room in 10 minutes!"

"Ok," Lockwood shouts back, "But after that, I need some rapier practice!"

I smile to myself, as I pull on the clean sweater in my hands. Some things never change. As I leave the attic, I find Lockwood waiting at the bottom of my steps. He gives me a quick kiss, more of a peck on the cheek. "You look nice Luce. I mean, you always do, but that sweater looks good,"

"Thanks Lockwood, you too,"

After tea, Lockwood asks if I want to join him for a rapier fight. "Sure, just let me put on a different shirt!" I tell him.

As I get back up to the attic, I remember the skull's jar, sitting on my dresser, where I left if before our trip to the sea. I flip the switch, and, before the skull can start insulting me again, I say, "Hi, Skull,"

He looks me up and down.

"Well, you and Lockwood will certainly have some explaining to do!,'
