Okay, so I actually updated on time, yay! I told you guys I'd do better. Anyways, this chapter is going to start in Harry's pov instead of Percy's and I hope everyone enjoys the chapter!

Harry POV

I stared at the boy across the room from me, hatred burning bright in my eyes, wondering if I was going to have to repeat myself. He just stared right back at me, his expression unreadable, before he sighed, "Yea I guess that's me".

I scoffed, "You guess?  You don't even care, do you? You don't care that your grandfather killed my fucking parents!" I rushed at him, wand at the ready. I pushed the wand up against his forehead and shouted, "how do you feel about it now huh? I BET YOU'RE NOT SO CARELESS NOW THAT THEIR SON IS ABOUT TO BLOW YOU TO PIECES!"

The boy sighed and moved his enthralling sea-green eyes up to look at my face. They darkened as he looked at me, their piercing aura seeming to look into my soul. "Harry, please put the wand down," he said calmly and yet with such authority that I almost obeyed.

"No, are you crazy? You're lucky I haven't killed you yet."

"Well don't say I didn't warn you."

I felt the wand being twisted from my hand and next thing I knew Percy was pressing me against the wall, his hand firmly planted on my throat.

My heart rate quickened as Percy moved his lips close to my ear and whispered, "listen to me, I'm here to help you. I'm nothing like my grandfather and if you take time to get to know me instead of trying to kill me, I'll prove it to you." He set me back down and said in a normal tone, "I'm sorry that my grandfather killed your parents, but I need you to understand that I am not defined by him, okay?"

I took a deep breath and realized he was right. "Yeah okay, sorry" I mumbled.

The boy smiled and reached out to shake my hand. "Great! Alright, let's start from the beginning, my name is Percy Jackson and I was sent here from America to help you guys out. What about you?"

"My name's Harry, nice to meet you, Percy," I said in a friendly tone, he didn't seem all that bad.

"Sorry for shoving you against the wall."

"it's fine, I kind of deserved it."

I stopped to stare at him for a second, still rather awestruck by his powerful presence. Percy almost reminded me of the Greek God's I learned about in grade school, attractive and powerful. I mean with his tousled black hair, vivid green eyes, and a jawline so sharp it could cut glass, the attractive part was definitely hard to ignore. He was muscular and tan, giving me the impression that he was some sort of athlete, the fact that he was over 6ft tall only enforcing that assumption.

Suddenly I was snapped from my thoughts by the sound of shattering glass to my right, whipping around only to find Pigwidgeon(the Weasley's owl) lying in a pile of glass with a bunch of letters tied to his leg.

Mrs. Weasley gasped, "Oh everyone come over here, the Hogwarts supply lists came!"

Percy looked confused, so I whispered to him, "they're kind of like school supply lists, but with all kinds of cool magical things on them. We'll be going Diagon Alley later to pick everything up"

"What's Diagon Alley?"

His head was tilted in an almost cute way, making me smile. "I guess you'll just have to wait and see" I responded, excited to watch him experience all the magic for the first time.

He chuckled a bit at that, before pulling me over to the table where everyone had already begun looking through their lists.

"aw mom they made us pick out expensive ones again," Ginny said, pouting as she did so.

" It's okay dear, You can use some of your brother's old books and we'll find the rest of the money," Mrs. Weasley said, obviously a bit embarrassed her daughter had pointed out something so sensitive in front of Percy. I glanced over at him to make sure he didn't have a judgemental expression, but to my surprise I found empathy. It seemed like he was familiar with this situation, something that made me respect him even more. He really is nothing like Voldemort.

"When are going to buy all this stuff?" Percy asked, now staring in awe at the list of magical school supplies.

"Well, I was thinking right now!" Mrs. Weasley responded. "Oh and Hermione has agreed to meet us there, she'll be staying with us after. She's one of Harry and Ronald's friends if you were wondering dear," she said to Percy.

"Hermione's staying with us? Yesssss" Ron and I blurted out, fist-bumping afterward.

Mrs. Weasley smiled and rolled her eyes. "Yes boys, very exciting I know. At any rate, we better get going if we want to be back before dark. Percy, Dumbledore sent some money for your supplies when you were still asleep, it should be in a bag on your nightstand, okay dear? Now, everyone go get ready and meet back here in 5."

Percy POV

As I ran up the many flights of stairs to my room, I thought of Harry. I hadn't really been too sure of him at first because of the whole 'ahhhh I'm gonna blow you to pieces' thing, but he seemed like a really nice guy overall. He was actually a lot like Nico; small, angry, pale, sad, and yet an extraordinary person. Both of them seemed to have a hard time sharing their true selves with strangers, although I guess I'd be throwing stones in a glass house on that one. Luckily I'd gotten pretty good at figuring people out, and Harry seemed easy to read. I'd be able to trust him.

I reached the room and slipped inside, grabbing the canvas bag off the nightstand. Looking inside I saw gold and bronze coins, glinting in the sunlight filtering through a window behind me. Wow, this is some cool money.

I ran back down the stairs to find everyone waiting for me in front of the fireplace.

"Ready to go?" Ron asked.

"Yea, but why are we hanging around the fireplace?"

"This is our way out mate," he responded.

"Oh, yea I forgot you didn't know!" George said, "We're gonna teleport in the fireplace using this stuff", he gestured to a jar of grayish-purple powder, "it's called flu powder, just get in the fireplace, drop it and say where you wanna go!"

Fred slapped his brother's arm, "Georgie you forgot the most important part!" Turning to me he said, " You have to make sure to say the words very exactly, not like Harry here" the twins snickered while Harry looked rather embarrassed.

"That was one time guys..." he mumbled out. His cheeks were flushed as he looked at the floor, it was a pretty adorable sight. I couldn't help but grin at him.

Mrs. Weasley came over and smacked the back of the twins' heads. She scolded, "boys come now, be nice to Harry, it wasn't his fault. Now since you're both obviously so articulate, why don't you go first."

Fred and George shrugged. Fred took a step into the fireplace and grabbed a handful of dust from the jar before dropping it and clearly saying, "Diagon Alley". George followed, then Mrs. Weasley, then Ginny, then Ron, until finally Harry and I were alone together.

"Ladies first?" I said to him.

He rolled his eyes at me, but I could see he was suppressing a smile. "Nah you're the new kid, you need someone watching you when you mess up".

I clutched my chest dramatically and whimpered, "why must you be so mean to me?"

He just snickered and stepped into the fireplace. "Fine, well whenever you're done having a heart attack, I'll be waiting on the other side for you" he assured.

I smiled and watched him disappear into the green flames. Shaking my head I stepped into the fireplace and did what everyone else had. before the flames fully engulfed me, I whispered to myself,

See you on the other side, Harry Potter.
