The Only One

New mission.

KATIE'S P.O.V

I wake up to my alarm on my phone, 5:30am.

Time for my run! I get up excitedly and wash my face with cleanser and brush my perfect teeth.

"Katie?" I jump at the sound of my name, turning to where my names been called. "What are you doing up so early?" Miranda asks in a half sleepish awakeish voice.

"Going for a run! I'll be back soon!" I leave my room before she could answer and tip-toe down to the kitchen.

I didn't exactly tell Miranda that Austin was here knowing she would go all monkey on him and probably attack him. I never really knew the reason why Miranda hated Austin so much, she never really told me why. Except the fact that he's an asshole and a manwhore.

I grab a banana and Dan active before I begin my run. Running always helped me think, I love to just refresh my mind by this. It also reminds me of my dad, actually the only thing that reminds me of him. When he left he didn't leave anything for me to remember him by. He used to tell me that running can actually relax you and make you control yourself.

"What's the nerd doing this early morning?" Austin says as he walks in, in shorts.. Just shorts.

"Going for a run, I'd ask the same for you." I bite my banana nervously as I try not to look down at his perfect abs.

"Went for a run at 3:30. Didn't know you were the running type." He grabs the water bottle on the side table and drinks it.

Damn, everything he does makes him look so sexy even when his hairs wet from the run.

"Uh, well-"

"Oh wait, I don't care. And it's pretty cold out so I wouldn't wear the sports bra with the booty shorts and-"

This time I decide to cut him off.

"Oh wait, I don't care." Again, I leave him speechless as I walk out of the front door and start my run.

While I start I pull out my headphones and put them in my ear and press shuffle.

Mountain Sound - Of Monsters And Men started playing. This song always got me to the run. I don't know why but its a great song.

~2 hours later~

I finally come back tired and sweaty, anxiously waiting to get into the steamy hot shower the awaits for me in my room.

I open the door quietly knowing that its only 7:30am and probably people were still sleeping.

"How was your run!!" Austin practically screams at me.

"Omg! You fucking scared me you idiot!" I scream-whisper at him. I glare at him while he laughs hysterically at my small heart attack I just experienced.

"Oh god, you should've seen your face!" He imitates my face, and again laughs thoroughly.

I walk right past him and head into the kitchen to grab a glass of water.

"Woah, hold up. Your not getting water until you answer my 2 questions, lady." Austin blocks my way right into the kitchen.

"What?" I say as I fold my arms in annoyance. Why couldn't he just leave me alone?

"Number one: why the hell is Miranda Ficke here.? And second : Is Evan Moore actually coming over?" He says seriously, folding his arms as well.

"Well Miranda is my best friend and yes he's coming over so we could hang out since my mom is not going to be home for the afternoon. Why?" I ask curiously.
