Mikasa's 1st Solved Mystery

Mikasa's POV...

Slowly I get more accustomed to my new lifestyle under Levi's wing. I'm slowly getting used to the work and what it means to be a detective. No bias, no feelings attached, just pure factual evidence to go by, at least that's how he does it. As we both walk down to the detention centre one more time, I catch Levi glancing at me from the corner of his eyes like he's studying me. I wonder why but I suppose I won't know until I get the courage to ask. Anyways, we walk into the room to see our next suspect, Mina Carolina. Part of Jean's bodyguards for the night and someone who seemed to be friends with Marco. It's time to continue this investigation.

Levi's POV...

As Mikasa and I walk into the room we see Mina sitting there cuffed to the desk as Jean was. As soon as I lay my eyes on her I can tell she's nervous, the small bead of sweat almost hidden by her hair and the little twitch and pull she does on her handcuffs. She's wanting out fast, could be from being innocent and just being scared but I have a suspicion her fear was from something else, perhaps she has more evidence to dispose of.

As we both sit down across from her I look at Mikasa, she looks focused and determined to find the truth, I like that. "State your name and occupation" Mikasa starts off strong as before wanting answers. "Mina Carolina, I was assigned as mr Kirstein's bodyguard for today's show" she answers hastily. Even blind people can tell how nervous she is. "Ok Mina, I'll need a full testimony of the events from last night as you know them" Mikasa says and leans closer towards Mina ready to catch any info she will need. "O-okay. I can do that heheh..." Mina says awkwardly.

(Mina's Account)

Well it started with me and Marco having to take the car down to the studio for Jean's performance which was scheduled for today. It had taken us a long time to pack so we were quite late on schedule. When we arrived Marco started to move some of the stuff out of the car while I waited in the car ready to drive off and go back for the rest. As soon as he took out the last box I left to go back to the hotel but Jean called and said to come tomorrow instead so I went to a small cafe to grab a drink. That would've been around 3:50 or so in the morning. I stayed there for about 5 hours as I fell asleep there and then I got arrested saying I was a suspect in a murder. Marco was apparently killed.
That's all I know...

"There, that's all I can recollect" says Mina in an arrogant tone. And I can see why. Purposefully keeping her information limited instead of running her mouth like some other idiots. She will be perfect for Mikasa's first case. "Alright then, Mikasa it's up to you" I say quietly as I looked at her and she nodded with confidence.

(Battle Interrogation)

Mikasa: so then ms Carolina, you said that it had taken a while for you two to pack the equipment. Approximately how long would you say?

Mina: huh? Well I-uhh it was about... 2 to 3 hours I'd say.

Mikasa: and the drive to the studio from the hotel is about 30 minutes correct?

Mina: yes, that's how much I'd say.

Mikasa: well the crime scene is about 20 minutes away from the hotel and almost 40 minutes away from the studio, that seemed to line up quite well with both the time of the murder and with the time you gave us.

Mina: HUH? I-I would never, I mean Marco was killed one the studio after I left so-

Mikasa: Gotcha.
