Tokoshoji Oneshots

Shoji's mask

Just to be clear, S stands for shoji and T for tokoyami.

T: "Hey Shoji, I've always wondered but why do you wear your mask?"

S: "Well um..."

T: "It's fine, I know some things are hard to talk about it and I accept that you may not be willing to share your secret with me."

S: "No, I can tell you, I trust you..."

S: *sigh* "Well, In my hometown, there is still prejudice against those whose bodies are altered outwardly by their Quirks. Nobody really accepted me, not even my siblings. When I started going to school my mother made me wear the mask because if I wasn't wearing it, I would often make the other children cry."

T: "Oh, I see... I think I kind of understand how you feel, it's not easy having a bird head, you know." *laughs*

S:*Smiles* "Thank you, Tokoyami. It means a lot to me."

T: "W-well if it isn't too much trouble, c-can I see? I'm really interested."

S: "Give me a moment to think about it, you're a close friend but I'm not too sure..."

T: "I-its completely fine if you don't want to, I understand!"

S: *sigh* "No, I promise it's fine!"

*Shoji takes off his mask*

T: "I- uhh..."

S: *starting to cry* "I'm sorry, Toko, I shouldn't have showed you.

T: "No, please don't cry, I like it. It makes you even more unique and cool. It's frustrating sometimes, having this quirk that modifies your body. You can't do anything about it, so you should just embrace it!" *hugs Shoji*

S: *surprised* "thank you, that really helps."
