Tokoshoji Oneshots

A Picnic

Tokoyami's POV:

I awake to The bright sun rays shining through the window blinds. "Another day" I mumble as I yawn and stretch, glancing over at the digital clock I have placed on my nightstand. Luckily, I woke up rather early. I walk into the common room, I start to smell a sweet fragrance, similar to that of freshly cut wood. The rest of the class is sat around the table, with a stack of homemade waffles in the center. I take a seat next to shoji, grabbing a few waffles to put on my plate.

T: "So, shoji, how did you sleep last night?"

S: "could have been better, I only got three or four hours of sleep actually."

T: *Yawns* "Oh, well I was wondering if you would want to go on a picnic with the rest of the class? Mina mentioned it while you were in your room."

S:"Oh yeah, I'd love to!"

I walk into the park, following behind the rest of the class. I usually like to keep my distance, so I try to stay pretty far behind everyone else. We get to she spot and immediately, everyone starts pairing up or splitting into groups, Shoji and I walk a bit, we aren't very familiar with this area so we aren't too sure where we could go to chat.

We end up finding a small pond with a large tree beside it, we sit under the tree in silence for a minute or two. I can feel myself drifting off to sleep, but then I feel a hand, it's one of Shoji's hands. I look down, and then up. He isn't looking at me but I seems like he may have done it on purpose. I stare at him for a moment, but then he looks at me, and smiles. I'm so confused, I'm not sure what to do, do I leave my hand? I don't want to seem rude! I adjust my position, sitting closer to Shoji. Oh no, I can feel my heart racing and-

"Hey shoji! Fumi thinks your really cute!" Dark shadow blurts out.

"U-umm d-don't listen to him! You know, he has a mind if his own and everything!"

Shoji pats dark shadow on the head, they both seem to like each other a lot.

"Hey, it's alright, Thanks for telling me!"

Shoji says. I honestly didn't even know dark shadow was there, I'm wondering how he got out without me noticing.

All of a sudden, shoji pulls me closer to him, I'm still so confused. I like him a lot, but this is happening so fast! As we sit in silence for a few more minutes, I can feel my heart beating out of control. In that moment I finally realize, I really love him, don't I?
