Due to confirmation of Arthur becoming the future Queen, Alfred's mother, the current Queen of Spades, took it upon herself to help Arthur become accustomed to the life of royals. It was surprising to Arthur for sure, but after hearing how similar his story was to hers, he understood why she wanted to help. She understood the struggle. And so, the Queen took to teaching Arthur the basics when she could, as well as teaching him the specifics of the Queen's job. However, before long, she figured that Arthur would learn better if he experienced help from his future comrades. And so, she requested for the future Jack of the kingdom to help Arthur with his lessons.

The Jack was named Yao Wang and was a stern young man. He had long brown hair tied back into a loose low ponytail matched with deep brown eyes. Though, he wasn't all stern, he could be nice when he wanted to be.

At first, Arthur struggled despite trying his absolute best. He naturally had good composure, so that was good at least, but his mannerisms were wrong. Time and tome again, he'd fall or forget something, or make a small mistake, be criticised and try again. Though it was obvious to people around them that Arthur was a fast learner. He was definitely improving faster than most. However, that wasn't luck. No, Arthur was giving it his all. He wanted to be the best Queen, after all, the Queen is the main source of support for the king. He wanted to be the most intelligent, for you see, the Queen is the hidden strategist. He wanted to be the most understanding, to give others hope. And that wasn't easy. Especially since he felt pressure to improve hastily due to Alfred's fast approaching coronation. The wedding day wouldn't be far behind it. That was already odd enough to people. Typically, the king was already married before coronation but they had to do it in reverse. They didn't want to rush things after all.

After just a month and a half, Arthur was justifiable good enough. He had newfound extensive knowledge of the kingdom, history, politics, allies and finance as well as gaining the correct mannerisms and personality needed to show off to the kingdom. Surely, the people couldn't reject such a hardworking young soul. In fact, Arthur's hard work has paid off so much that the current king, who had been concerned about all of this, finally gave his approval to Alfred and Arthur, resulting in celebration.

However, due to his constant hard work, he had spent less time with Alfred. Though the other had equally been busy. Nevertheless, they spoke to each other at least 2 times a day but now that they were free again, they could spend their days together more. What was surprising to Arthur however, was how accepting the royal family ended up being. They were so understanding of his own feelings that he didn't even share chambers with Alfred. He had his own bedroom. They believed it made him more comfortable, which was definitely true. That and, they believed that nothing romantic could happen between the two after marriage. Not even a kiss. Arthur didn't mind that though, he still felt rather awkward around the prince. But that was a given right? This situation was less than normal.

Anywho, the royal family had even met his own family during his lessons and struggles and seemed to accept them too. They were certainly surprised by how...unique? His brothers were...especially Alistair but it seemed that the farmer siblings had ultimately won them over. Honestly, Arthur was glad. Really glad. Everything seemed to be going fine lately and the stress was easing away. Especially since he had finished his lessons.
