In the hollowed corner of my heart where once dust was housed,
Windows were boarded,
Doors were locked shut,
And light was absent,
An essence found its way in through the cracks,
I could hear it tiptoe inside,
I could feel the dust being swept about,
And slowly the loneliness faded,
The sadness fell away as the sands of the hour glass passed time,
And one by one the boards fell away from the windows,
With each, fallen board, The clouds above thinned, and the sun began to shine through,
It was then that I saw her,
I saw the essence,
The essence was her,
And she carried the key that filled the once hollowed corner and opened the once sealed door,
The key was love,
It was her love,
Her love for me!
