It's mid school year and I still haven't found the right friend group. On my first two weeks of my freshman year, I tried joining the anime club (because I like anime) but they were all either the "Can he beat Goku though" kids or the Boku No Hero Academia fan base. The "Can he beat Goku though" kids are only annoying because they never stop talking about how Goku is "The strongest in anime history". The Boku No Hero Academia fan base is just... weird. Don't get me wrong the anime is amazing but the fan base is odd. After the anime club failed I tried the book club. Because I don't really read many books besides manga, the only good part of the book club were all of the cute nerdy girls. So that obviously failed. Then after the book club I tried the chess club and honestly the chess club isn't that boring. Most of the people there were chill but the only thing was that I hate chess. So after that I basically gave up on clubs. I started looking into friend groups that I could join. I first started looking into the goth group but I immediately said no. After that came the skater kids. They were all really cool but made fun of me a little. I thought that I had actually found a friend group to stay in. But then I realized that I couldn't skateboard so I left. I didn't even consider the fact that I could just learn how to skateboard. It's been a couple weeks since I left the skateboarding group.

My name is Carson by the way. I have bushy eyebrows so I like to call myself Rock Lee. I'm tall and skinny, 5'10 to be exact. Well no... if I were being exact I would say that I'm 177.8 centimeters tall but it's whatever. I have hazel colored eyes and still don't have a friend group yet. But today, that's all gonna change. I decided to buy a skateboard. I don't want to ride it thought because it might get scratched or damaged. But I thought about it a lot over the past few days or so, I know it now. I wanna be a skater.

When I got to school I noticed that the skater kids were riding their skateboard at school. I don't know anything about skateboarding but I'll learn eventually. I observed the skater kids all day. When lunch time came I ate alone like always but I sat down at the empty table behind them. They said something about meeting at the "Bro Bowl Skatepark" on Sunday. So obviously I'm gonna go on Saturday so that I don't run into them. It's Friday today so I guess I'll do my research tonight on skateboarding and what not. When school was out I walked home and I immediately got on my computer. First I searched up "Bro Bowl Skatepark" to see how far away it was. Surprisingly it was only about 5 minutes away from my house. It was built in 1978 but they remade it a little over a couple years ago. I also looked up what to do when you first get a skateboard. I scrolled down to the bottom to try to find a website that was really good. I finally found one that led me to the Instagram account "CoolSkaterz69" and I followed it. It said in his bio that I should try to ollie so I grabbed my board, my phone, and walked outside. I sat out there for a little bit making sure that no one was gonna come outside and see me. I looked up a YouTube video titled "THE FASTEST WAY TO LEARN HOW TO OLLIE TUTORIAL. By Brallie Skateboarding." Seemed legit enough to me so I watched it and set my phone against a brick in the front of my house. He said to pop and slide. Pop and slide, Pop and slide, Pop and slide, over and over again. So obviously I wasn't gonna waste my time with that so I just went for it. I didn't even get close. So then I tried again. Still nothing. I tried one more time. Still failed. So then I finally did the stupid pop and slide bullshit. After about 2 minutes I tried it again. Still nothing. So full of anger I chucked my board into the street. I grabbed my phone and stomped inside with frustration.

A couple minutes later someone knocked at the door so I went and answered it.

"Aye, you left your board out in the street homie." He said as he handed it to me.

"Thanks but I don't skate anymore, you can keep it."

He looked at me with a sense of confusion In his face. He had dark skin with short dreads and a cool chain that said "CAPALOT".
