Brooklyn hated the fact her sister was arriving. She knew that she must act like she doesn't know nothing though, but it's hard. Emmett walked over and kissed her head. "Everything will be fine."

"No it won't." She said. "Something's bound to happen and this will be all on her."

Emmett nodded knowing that Brooklyn was right. When Bella is around, danger follows and that doesn't settle well with him as he looked back at his mate. Brooklyn was his everything and he don't think he could go on without her by his side.

The sound of the Jeep caught their attention. Brooklyn didn't even look towards Bella. Edward walked by with a slight nod as Brooklyn knew there was more he read.

Brooklyn watched the game with interest. Damon knew that something was bound to happen. Just by how Alice stopped. Brooklyn stood up as she heard Alice tell them stop. Emmett went straight to his mate just as Damon and Rosalie did. "What's going on?"

"Visitors are coming as they heard us playing." Damon tells her. "They visit from time to time."

"Are these visitors..."

"Nomads." Rosalie answered.

Brooklyn hugged up to Emmett as she looked towards the trees. Three sets of red eyes. Brooklyn studied all three and knew this will definitely not end well for them. Emmett tightened his grip on her. "I will always protect you."

"I know." She said as she looked back at them.

Bella watched at how close Brooklyn was with Emmett still and how the others seem to be ready to fight for her. That should be me. Edward looked over his shoulder and glared at Bella. Bella was confused and went to fiddle with her ring to notice it was gone. Where's my ring?

The wind started to blow which sent Bella's scent to the three nomads, whom Brooklyn learned their names. James is the blonde, his mate Victoria the red head, and Laurent. James smirked Bella's way. "You brought a snack."

"Oh great." Brooklyn mumbled.

Emmett held Brooklyn tight as the others went into action. Brooklyn got out of Emmett's arms and walked over to James. Her violet eyes glowing causing the three nomads to gasp. "If I were you, I would leave." She tells them. When none of them budged, Brooklyn smirked. "Now!"

The wind started blowing more and lightening struck. The three nomads left as Emmett grabbed his mate. "Brooklyn, baby, calm down."

Brooklyn looked at Emmett and everything calmed down. "I'm sorry." She tells him.

"It's not your fault." He said as he kissed her. "Let's get you home."

"Okay."

Brooklyn heard Bella and shook her head. "James better kill her or so help me god, I will."  She mumbled as she ran down to Charlie. "Oh daddy." She said as she hugged him.

"I knew this was coming, but I have you, Brooklyn."

"Always daddy."

Later that night, Brooklyn was in her room when Emmett came through the window. "Hey." He said as he walked over to her. "I'm not protecting Bella."

"What about the plan?"

"Screw the plan." Emmett said. "She was so happy that we were all focusing on her and not you. Saying that you don't deserve us and all sorts of bs."

"Emmett, she knows the truth." Brooklyn said. "She knows Edward and everyone isn't falling for her plan like she wanted. I love my sister, but she has to understand what your family is trying to tell her."

"What did I do to deserve you?" Brooklyn smiled and kissed him. She was just glad to have him in her life.
