Day Break

"Doesn't that job sound easy?" I asked. Lucy nodded slightly.

"Yeah it is, considering it's my first job, this will be great!" she grinned. "Huh, you seem to be rather interested in it Lucy." I stated. "Of course!"

"I just have to sneak into one mansion, right?" Lucy said. "To the perverted old fart's" Happy said casually. I rolled my eyes. "Yup, the perverted old fart's" Lucy replied.

"Since the rest of you will be not participating in it for the most part. We'll split it 7:1:1:1:" Lucy said. I sighed. "Yeah, whatever." I waved it away. "Oh you're okay with 1?" Happy asked. "No idiot! I'm taking 8!" Lucy shouted.

I listened to them bicker about her being caught absent mindly.

I walked belong side them. "We're here!" Lucy shouted, and I only nodded. "I'm hungry, let's go eat!" Natsu said. "What about the hotel?" I asked.

"I'm not really hungry, why don't you just eat your fire?" Lucy asked. I face palmed. "Lucy-" I was cut off by Natsu. "That's like eating your key guys." he said. "Celestial spirits." I muttered.

Lucy ignored the key guys. "You can't eat your own fire? What a hassle." Lucy sighed. I followed after Natsu as he went to the restaurant. 

I ate cold food, while Natsu ate hot food. Such a difference. "Let's keep the oily ones for Lucy!" I looked at him in disgust. "How can you eat that?" I asked. "What do you mean Ryuuki?" Natsu looked at me.

"It's disgusting." I scowled when Lucy came in. "What's disgusting?" she asked. We all looked at her. "Lu-" he stopped.

They started to whisper loudly. I rolled me eyes.

"Woah, that's a pretty big~~ house." I said looking up it. "Well he is willing to pay 200,000 jewels for a book. He must be rich." Lucy reasoned.

I knocked on the door. "May I have your name please?" someone on the inside asked. "We're from mage guild fairy-" I was stopped by the person on the inside. "Shhh! Please come in from the back!" he said. I looked at them in confusion. Lucy shrugged.

We entered.

"I'm terribly sorry about earlier. I'm the client, Kirby Melon, and this is my wife." he said before gesturing to his wife.

"Your name sounds yummy!" natsu said casually. "Melon!" I rolled my eyes. Lucy tried to shush them. Kirby laughed. "Ahaha! People tell me that often!" he said with a finish of a chuckle. Lucy started to think and I looked over at her.

"I wouldn't have imagined the number one guild Fairy Tail would of  accepted this job." he said. "Really?" I muttered. "I was wondering why such a good job was available."

"And both of you are pretty young too." he said before looking at Natsu. Me young? It's not my fault for  looking like a little girl! "Are you famous?" he asked . "Yeah,Natsu is called Salamander." Lucy stated. He looked over at Lucy. "And this is?" he asked. I let out a little giggle.

"She's also a mage of Fairy Tail." I said. "Is that outfit your hobby or something? Not that it's bad or anything." he smiled.

"I kinda wanna go home now." she muttered. 

Alright, let's talk about the work." he put his hands in his lap.

"The one and only copy of Daybreak. I want you to incinerate it." he said. "We can just burn down the mansion!" Natsu laughed. "No! You'll go to jail for that!" Lucy shouted.

"What is that book anyway Mr. Melon?" I asked. "Who cares? We're getting 200,000 jewels!" Natsu said. I rolled my eyes.

"No.... I'll pay two million. The prize is two million." he suddenly got dreary. I looked at him seriously. "T-Two million?!?" all of their jaws dropped. "Why increase it too two million?" I asked calmly. "That book really needs to be destroyed. I can't forgive it's existence." he looked down.

"Something must of happened..." I muttered to myself. "Let's go Lucy! I'm burning with passion!" he grabbed Lucy and ran.

"Sorry about that Mr. Melon. They are quite reckless." I sweatdropped before running after them.

~ TOO THE MANSION!~

"Excuse me, I came to apply for the job of blonde-haired maid position." Lucy answered cutely as I watched from behind a tree. "Excuuse me, is anyone in there?" Lucy called lightly.

Suddenly a....big gorrila-like maid came out of the ground. "Maid applicant?" he asked. Lucy nodded.

"Excuse me master, there is a girl who came for the maid applicant." she called down the hole. Strange. Suddenly Evaroo came out of the whole.

"Boyoyoyoyon." he laughed. "Talk about overkill." I muttered. "Did you call me?" he asked. She nodded slightly. The duke suddenly started checking her out.

"Rejected! Go home ugly!" he said and turned away. "Poor Lucy." I muttered. "That's it, time to go home ugly." the maid picked up Lucy. Suddenly four maids came out of the ground.

"For someone as great as I am, only the most beautiful maids would suit me." he laughed.

Lucy cried in the corner. "You're useless." Natsu stated bluntly. "No! It's not that it's just his sense of beauty is kind of retarded!" Lucy shouted. "HOW VEXING!" she finished.

"Change of plan: Plan T!" Natsu shouted slightly punching his fists together. I sweat-dropped. "I don't think a direct charge will work this time." 

I rolled my eyes when they ignored me. Oh well.
