Chapter 4
"No I can do this!"
When I woke up, I saw two people talking or more like arguing. It's my secretary and someone unfamiliar.
"Come on, Chawi. He almost got the both of you there! Things could've gotten worst if I didn't get there on time!."
Chawi?
Ginala ko ang mga mata ko, the first thing that caught my eye was a painting of beach waves but in all shades of grey.
"Your boss is awake." That someone said in a deep voice.
Chello came up to me and said, "Miss, are you okay?"
He's the guy from the van kanina. Ganun parin ang suot niya pero may sunglasses parin siya.
Sumandal siya sa pader. His arms are crossed. His muscles are screaming and some of his tattoos can be seen too.
Our eyes met.
"Done checking me out?" aniya.
"Give us minute here. Please." Bumaling si Chello sa kanya. Ngumisi siya at tahimik na umalis.
"I'm fine." I smiled to her in response, tinanaw ko ang pwesto niya kanina at kinurap-kurap ang mata ko.
"Nag alala po ako kanina. Sorry po hindi ako nagawa ang trabaho."
"No. it's okay. Walang masakit sa akin. Where are we? Hindi ito ang apartment." Ani ko. At pinagmasdan muli ang silid. Malawak ang kwartong ito ngunit walang masyadong gamit at ash grey ang theme nito.
To my right is a white curtain all the way on the floor and the sunset is peeking through.
"About that, we're at the quarters po ng mga bodyguards na pinadala ng Daddy niyo."
I sigh. What does he want this time?
After a few minutes, Chello informed me about the condition of the other employee na nandoon kanina and also the office. Mabuti at walang nasaktan sa kanila. The office right now are being investigated by the authorities and some of the securities that Dad sent.
Umalis muna si Chello at magpapalit lang daw ng damit at inigay sa akin ang isang paper bag laman ang mga damit ko.
Nakapag bihis na ako ng mas kumportableng damit. I'm still wearing my sando top from earlier with a loose denim jacket, new pair of ripped jeans and my all-white sneakers.
I was fixing my shoelace when someone knock on the door, I walk up to open the door.
"Chello, ang tagal mo naman..." ani ko.
Pumasok si Chello and when I look at her outfit.
I was taken aback.
Is this even Chello right now?
She is wearing a white button down long sleeve tucked in a fitted cargo pants, her long hair was in a low sleek ponytail and a black ankle boots.
On her wrist was a blue bowler bracelet. It seems familiar but I couldn't quite remember where I saw it.
"Pinapatawag na po tayo sa baba."
"What are you wearing?" tanong ko.
"Ipapaliwanag ko na lang po mamaya. Ngayon po kelangan ka na po sa baba. Hinahanap ka na po ng Daddy niyo." paliwanag niya.
