Taylor watched your eyes move across the pages as you looked through every item on the menu and debated on what to get.

Tonight marks six months that you've been together and Taylor wanted to treat you to a romantic dinner at your favorite spot. The lights were dimmed and she had chosen a spot for you two to eat where no one else was really around to give you a little more privacy.

"Y/N?" She laid her hand over yours. You lifted your head to look at her, catching her loving gaze. "I have something for you."

You set the menu down and gave her your full attention. You watched her reach into her pocket and pull out a little velvet box. "I've been thinking about getting you this for a little while now, and I figured today was the perfect time for it."

She slid the box across the table and you let go of her hand to grab it. When you opened it you was met with one of the most beautiful rings you've ever seen, but the words across the back of the ring were what really caught your eye.

"Forever and always," you whispered in awe. You also noticed that your names were engraved in the front of it, around the two beautiful diamonds. You couldn't take your eyes off of it. It was so beautiful, and what made it even more special was the fact that Taylor had it made just for you.

"It's so beautiful." You said as you looked up at her. "I love it. No one has ever done something so sweet for me before. Thank you, Taylor."

She grinned and leaned across the table to give you a kiss. She took the ring out of the box and then took your hand in hers, looking into your eyes as she slid it onto your finger. "It's you and me against the world, my love. Forever and always."

Your smile was bigger than ever before. Taylor's eyes sparkled as she kissed your hand and then intertwined your fingers, happily holding it all through the night.
