Week 3

Betty's POV ~

Today I receive another letter from Jughead and I'm really excited to find out more about him. We have been liking each others posts in Instagram recently and I think I might have a  crush on him even though I've never met him.

I have told my friends - Kevin,Veronica, Fangs,Sweet Pea, Toni and Cheryl- about Jughead and showed them the letters. The aren't taking French so I had to explain the whole pen pal exchange program thingy to them but they are excited to meet him when he visits for a week.

It was now time for french class so I headed to the classroom at sat down at my desk. We did the usual boring stuff and then the teacher started handing out our letters. Getting our letters was always the highlight of my week now. I opened the envelope and started reading. Aww he thought I was beautiful now I had to write back.

Je suis triste que vous n'ayez pas d'amis,  mais lorsque vous viendrez visiter, je suis sûr que vous vous lierez d'amitié avec mes amis. Merci aussi d'avoir dit que je suis belle comme toi je n'ai jamais été en couple.

J'habite à Londres avec ma mère, sœur,nièce et neveu. J'aime lire des romans d'amour et de crime. Je suis aussi connu pour être un peu Nancy Drew alors que je résous le meurtre du petit ami de ma sœur.

Je suis vraiment partante pour les appels vidéo pendant les vacances d'été et quand vous venez en Angleterre, je vais vous faire essayer tellement de nourriture anglaise, alors j'espère que vous aimez la nourriture.

J'ai hâte de passer un appel vidéo et de vous rencontrer.

Betty's letter in English ~

Dear Jughead,

I am sad that you have no friends but when you come visit I'm sure you'll make friends with my friends. Also thank you for saying I'm beautiful as like you I've never been in a relationship.

I live in London with my mum, sister, niece and nephew. I like reading romance and crime novels. I'm also known for being a bit of a Nancy Drew
as I solved the murder of my sisters boyfriend.

I am definitely up for video calling in the summer holidays and when you come to England I am going to make you try so much English food so I hope you like food.

Can't wait to videocall and meet you

A couple days later
Jughead's POV~

Today I'm getting another letter of Betty and I'm really excited she has been liking my Instagram posts and I've been doing the same. I got to class early as I was so excited.

"Heres your letter Forsythe from your special lady"

"Haha very funny sir she's not my special lady yet"

"But you want her to be"

"Well yeah she's so nice to me and beautiful and I can't wait to meet her"

"Good for you Forsythe, I know you don't have any friends apart from her at the moment"

"Yeah"

"Class starts in a minute so take your seat"

"Okay"

I sat down and opened Betty's letter and soon as we were allowed to. She's so sweet, kind and interesting not forgetting beautiful. I started writing my reply.

Dear Betty,

I can't wait to meet you and your friends when I come to visit. I also like crime novels and in sorry for the death of your sister's boyfriend. I love food so I'm up for trying English food but when you come to France I want you to try French food.

Also when you come to France I want to show you around some French Landmarks.

I just can't wait to meet you too
