Week 6

Betty's POV~

Today I recieved Jughead last letter and write my last one to him. In a way it's kind of sad we won't be writing to each other anymore but we will definitely message and videocall. Despite being slightly sad I am happy because I have made a friend and got a crush not that he knows he's my crush.

Now it's the time to read his final letter.
I read it and I couldn't believe it. He likes me and said 'You make me happy, you are beautiful and I am passionate about you.'

I was so excited I quickly wrote a reply, my last letter.

I was so happy with his letter I couldn't wait to show and tell my friend at break.

As soon as the lesson was over I ran to my friends and I's table with a huge smile on my face.

K:"Hey baby B"

All: "Hey Betty"

B:"Hi guys

K:So what's got you all smiley?"

C: "I bet lover boy"

T:"Second that"

V:"I agree"

B:"Yes it's him"

F:"What happened?"

S:"Yeah I wanna know"

B:"Well i recieved his letter today and basically Yeah it's better if I show you and I'll translate the french bits for you." *places letter on the table*

S:"So what does it say?"

B: "Well Pea the bits in French say 'I like you' 'You make me happy, you are beautiful and I am passionate about you. '"

All: "Awww"

K: "So what did you say?"

B:"Basically the same"

All: "Yes B "

A couple days later~
Jughead's POV~

It been a couple days since I sent the letter to Betty and I've been nervous ever since. Today is the day I get my reply.

Monsieur Moreau handed me my letter with a wink knowing this is my response from Betty after I told her my feelings. I opened it up and was shocked she felt the same way. I immediately pulled out my phone with a huge grin on my face. I went on Instagram and message Betty.

Hey dont know when you'll see this but I just got your letter and I can't believe you feel the same way. I would love to say this in real life but text is the only way rn so Veux-tu être ma petite-amie?

Within a couple minutes I got a reply:

Oui. p.s the only reason y I can text u rn is the fact that I asked the teacher if i could do to the toilet as soon as my phone vibrated by I thought it might be u. Gotta go now xx

I quickly text back:
Au revoir ma petite-amie xx

Betty's POV~

I sat in class when I felt my phone vibrate through my blazer pocket. I put my hand up until the teacher said my name. "Please can I go to the toilet miss" "Why didn't you go at break Elizabeth?" "Because I didn't need it then" "Don't be sassy but you may go"

I headed to the toilet and pulled out my phone. I saw it was from Jug so I clicked down it and read it. Omg he asked me to be his girlfriend. I quickly typed Oui and told him I couldn't really talk.  I was so happy I then headed back to class even though there was only 5 minutes left.

After class I headed to lunch and shared the news with my friends. They were all so happy for me. Now I couldn't wait to videocall him in the next couple days.
